Anthropologie — Local services in Boston

I've shopped at Anthropologie for over 10 years and have always thought that they have a fun, but expensive selection of clothes. Recently, I visited the store on Newbury with a baby stroller. The main entrance is up a flight of stairs. While there was a ramp to a side entrance with an elevator, the door to get into the room with the elevator was locked. My friend and I disassembled the stroller and carried it up the stairs. When I inquired inside about the door being locked, I was told that people usually just run up and signal for the elevator door to be unlocked. While this is perfectly adequate for people with strollers, I think that Anthropologie is missing the point here. Individuals with physical disabilities cannot run up the stairs to signal that they need the elevator. I'm disappointed in the fact that Anthropologie has a handicap accessible building that they actively choose to make...

Came here on a sunday, with my sisters , who was greeted by a girl in the front of the store with a smile , and immediately dropped when she saw me, into a blank stare, no smile and no greeting . At first i thought it was weird , and then my sister mentioned it too. I totally understand some people have bad days, but as someone who works in customer service their is no need to be mean during so. I am really disappointed with Anthropology! I always like to buy gifts for friends and family from Anthropology, and this is the 3rd time I go there to buy a gift and told “sorry we don’t have gift boxes/gift bags. And today I found it hallucinating that they didn’t even have a small bag for the $80 worth necklace I got!! The poor lady at the cashier had to wrap it in a very basic paper and hand it to me!! Like, seriously guys!! When you sell stuff for these prices, it’s a bare minimum you have decent bags/ boxes for the customers. This will be my last purchase at Anthropology. I find this management...
