I purchased three 1000-piece puzzles, but one of them turned out to be extremely disappointing. The box mentioned that the puzzle included “20 unique shapes” (photo attached), but it wasn’t clear what that actually meant. Upon opening it, I discovered that these 20 pieces were massive and made up the majority of the puzzle. What’s the point of buying a 1000-piece puzzle if most of it is completed in just 20 oversized pieces?
When I tried to address this issue with the store, I was told I couldn’t return it because I had opened it. However, how was I supposed to know this was a problem without opening it? A fair customer service response would have been to allow me to exchange it for a different puzzle. You could easily resell the opened one at a discount and, moving forward, ensure the product description is clear so customers know what they’re actually buying.
This experience left me frustrated and disappointed, and I hope the company reevaluates its approach to customer satisfaction.
I won’t be shopping at this...
Read moreThis is colorados version of FAO shwartz. Its definitely not 2 stories but it definitely is packing in allllll the toys everything from books, to a darling ride on horse, to funky little toys. They have new comer to the toy parade maileg (thank you!!!!!) My biggest suggestion is to just go to the original in boulder and not the other two.. we were on foot bus bound and decided to make a day of it and go out to broomfield and visit that one and then head to the mall and bennihanna And were flat told they didn't carry maileg which yeah it made mad because we then had to back track to boulder an hour by bus away. It turned out alright but not amused we had to spend most of our day traveling. Neverthe less this is the flag store and it is everything and the staff is pretty tolerant of kids . My kids were a little out of hand and i appreciated them being ok with the kids moving...
Read moreIt's a nice and fun interior for kids. However, I think it gives off a more quality vibe than some of the toys justify. I kind of expect some level of selection and refinement of toys when I'm in a retail store, and some of the toys ( e.g. Calico Critters ) are just cheap plastic with exorbitant price tags. I was a bit disappointed with this particular toy because it was priced at $79, but when I opened the box and realized the packaging was misleading and there was substantially less included I think I paid $79 for something that should have been $25.
I kind of expect a retail store to do a better job of keeping bad products like this out of their store so that I can trust I'm not going to get duped by a product they offer.
I've had similar experiences with some other toys ( the orange snowmobile ) in the front of their store. There's no...
