I was in your store yesterday and was very unsatisfied with the level of customer service. I purchased a size 2 sandal, the Hawaiian sandals for my daughter. She tried them on and they were too small so I took them back to the store. She had not worn them other than to try them on. I wanted to exchange them for another size. I was told that these shoes were too worn and could not be exchanged or returnd. She hadn't worn them. I understand the nature of retail and that this is a common occurrence, however, this was not the case for us. Furthermore had I wanted to purchase another pair then was not a pair to be found and the two women working had no idea when or if you would get more. They were lazy. They were on their cell phones most of the time and did not want to help anyone in the store. This was Monday night around 6PM on 5/15/17. Many stores sell these stores and I will be taking my business elsewhere. I will be purchasing another size for my child but somewhere else other than your store. I would dare say that occurrences like this is what drives more and more people to purchase online and stop supporting brick and mortar stores. I live in Bountiful.    Read moreI really dont like how this man named "Jeremy " treated my family member who worked there. She had a family emergency where the hospital was involved. It was a life or death situation and she got her shift covered. He held her accountable and wrote her up for it. Even after she got coverage. To pushed her to eventually quit due to his OCD Qualities and the harassment and diciplinary actions he would do. He also was very hypocritical to the employees. He would tell the employees to not wear jeans or any shorts but then everyday he would come in wearing them and I personally saw another employee wearing shorts twixe when I would come in to say hello to my granddaughter. As stated i was privy to convos with the workers as they talked about how this man ( jeremy ) treated the employees there. Definitely re think coming into this establishment. You will get talked about, treated poorly and to top it off, if the owner treats his employees like this, you can expect the same to customers The owner had no care about emergencies. Order your ornaments from the Hallmark website on cyber Monday and save 25%. I had $250 of ornaments on layaway for 2 weeks. I got an email for cyber Monday for the discount last night. I went in today and was informed that last night was the last day to cancel layaways on ornaments (which I knew) but that they would not match the discount or allow me to cancel and order online. No attempt was made to make any reparations and no sympathy was shown by the manager who is the ownerâs son. (His dad was my parentâs home teacher for years.) I have bought hundreds of dollars from this location each year for several years. No more.
Follow up: they say it's Hallmark policy. Well. He could have let me return them, it was only one day late. Hesays it was a"miscommunication". Possibly. But really it is actually a missed service...
