The venue is great, the location is great, the sound was great. Overall a very nice concert venue I would have given 3 stars. The biggest physical downside is that you need to go outside to use the restroom. This would have been only a mild annoyance however, they had major patches of ice right outside the restrooms. When I asked the event security (Dew Tour Concert) about removing the ice they responded "that's not my problem." I followed up with "Who is the event manager?" and he responded "I don't know." My friend fell on this ice and ripped his pants and was bleeding. One other woman also fell and cut up her hand pretty badly, and this is only the people that I saw fall. The ice may have not been security's problem but they should have known the event manager, it was very unprofessional. It's possible the Breckenridge does not salt but you can throw sand, or have someone go out there and scrape the ice off the sidewalk.”
One other big annoyance is the venue itself but the liquor purveyor is "Cash Only" and they have an ATM right there at the bar. This is one of my biggest pet peeves of venues/bars. To boot they only have two relatively hidden "Cash Only" signs (one on each menu board). I have attached two photos, both of the menu board. The first picture is the menu board as seen from outside the line (10ft back) the second is when you get closer. Notice how the "Cash Only" is only visible when right up at the bar. This is very annoying because it pressures you into using the ATM and paying the fee because you just waited in the long line for the bar. To make things worse, the water fountains were turned off since they are outside, and the only place to get water was from these...
Read moreOur fifth time here for the ice sculptures. They are amazing to look at every year. You can park around the area at meters for a dollar per hour or find free parking further away in the residential area. We like going in the evening to see the art pieces during sunlight, heading to happy hours at close by restaurants, and then coming back to see the ice sculptures at night when the lights are on. The ice sculptures are really pretty to look at nighttime. We usually spend around three hours...

Fail - if you have a drink and you need to use the bathroom. The bathroom is located on the outside of the building. That is not the problem. The problem is you are told to leave your drink at your seat or on a table by the door. Obviously there is no thought about your drink being tampered with. It happens. It happens here often and is not...
