The museum was very hard/impossible to find! It is on the back side of some condos. Best way (we figured out when we left) to get there, is to take the Blue River Bikeway down from Ski Hill Road. Once we finally arrived, my pregnant wife went to purchase tickets. She jokingly said to the girl working there, do we get a discount since it was so hard to find? She said, (quite rudely to her) no and I don't appreciate your attitude. She was very cold and not welcoming, like we were an inconvenience being there. If the kids weren't so very excited to be there we would have just left. All that being said we did have a fun time exploring all the various activities, stations, and areas in there. It is a smaller establishment but there are so many things packed in we were entertained for about 3 hours. I would recommend but take the time to plan out best way to...
Read moreThe Mountain Top Children's Museum (Mountain Top Exploratorium) has always been an exceptional organization. They were providing excellent programs before the pandemic, and then stepped it up when the pandemic hit. Although they've lost their permanent home for their museum, they began providing a safe summer camp during the summer of 2020, allowing our family to begin to feel normal again, and return to work. And when kiddos returned to school in Fall of 2020, they were able to provide after school programming, and programming to help the kids during their online school days-amazing! Mountain Top Exploratorium also has a great staff who are all friendly, fun, and supportive while helping to teach kids about the world around them, thru getting outside, being active and adventurous, and experimenting with all things fun and wacky. Love you...
Read moreWe had a great time here spent almost 3 hours and could have stayed much longer. My daughter loves to craft and there were many supplies although about ½ of them were empty. Also she ate while we were there, something with Curry in it, because it stunk up the whole place and made me nauseous. Nothing was where it should be and I didn't see her once get up to check the cleanliness/organization of the place or interact with the guests until it was closing time. The little robot toys were not charged FYI. My kids still had fun, but it would have been nice if things were stocked and organized. ...
