GAME STOP TAKE NOTE YOU HAVE A SUPER STAR EMPLOYEE WHO GOES TO EVERY LINGTH NOT ONLY TO GET CUSTOMERS BUT KEEP CUSTOMERS. i have dealt with best buy for FAAAR FAAAR TO LONG. They are HORRIBLE to deal with. I wS literally about to dump my playstation entirely and chalk it up to growing up. Ive had said playstation 3 since it came out. Day of. I wasnt about to let it go. Best buy completely dumped me on a second ps3 wih a warranty claiming that i was trying to use the warrenty to fox the original console. We went around for 3 weeks to the point where i actually was asked to leave the store. I shot a HUGE BIRD to the manager who was a complete dick and said you lost all my business. The manager himself said well im sure game stop will hell you. As an insult. So i charged my bunns over to game stop flat irons and spoke with christina. 2 hours later i hade a new playstation a hand full of games a new controller and some goodies to go with. I told her then she was amazing. She literally made triple sure i was taken care of. Im semi disabled. I have long periods of down time while i deal with my life long disability. Gaming has become how i cope with the pain and forget about the realities of my disability. Losing a system is like losing a friend. Christina understood this took me serious and has made a life long customer out of me. And today was no different im the very proud owner of a brand spanking new ps4 black opps3 edition. Ill be getting an xbox 1 for my girlfriend in jan. i also have since began gathering monumental amounts of games. My favorite is my collection of tin top box games. Especially my mass effect 3. Horrible experience. EXTREMELY rude staff. There was a 5 person limit on customers inside the store, which is fine and understandable due to Covid. However, my boyfriend and I waited outside as the sign suggested. We waited as there were 5 people in the store. So we waited until 2 people came out, no one else was waiting to go into the store, so we entered. We walked around for a bit and then started talking about some games. This is when neckbeard comes over to us and asks us to go outside because "there was a family here before us". They kicked us outside their store to let 5 ADDITIONAL people inside the store (leaving 8 PEOPLE inside the store, instead of their suggested 5.) My boyfriend and I looked at each other, then the employee, and who seemed dumber than a box of rocks, and then left once we realized what a waste of space those employees are. It's okay, your prices are about as ridiculous as your employees, we don't need it. thats what the internet is for! Can't wait to see this business burn to the ground like Blockbuster did! Do NOT buy refurbished consoles from gamestop. They do NOT verify their consoles. I bought a ps4 pro refurbished in 2017. My console recently stopped accepting game discs. Sony says there is a certain screw you can tighten on the disc drive to fix the problem i was having. Come to find out, my "refurbished" unit from gamestop was missing that screw. I went to FlatIrons gamestop to get a new ps4. They wouldn't accept my account credit, AND they tried to sell me a ps4 that ALSO did not have the "fix" screw. They nearly sold me another console that would eventually break. In fact, don't ever do business with Gamestop. Don't give them your games because they won't give you fair credit AND they won't accept the credit when you try to buy something from them. Truly a bunch of scam policies.
