Read moreI had a very frustrated experience ith the Dillards Brownsville. called twice yesterday and was asked for a phone number so some one could call me back(11am)-Waited for five hours and never heard from anyone.I called back again at 4pm and explained the situation, but the person who answered couldn't help me because I didn't remember the name of the rep I spoke to earlier. she said She'd find the person and get back yo me,but again-no one call back. This morning I called al 1039am the woman who answered the phone didn't even greet me properly- no "Good Morning" no a"Thank you for calling Dillards Brownsville " and when I tried to explain my issue she just answered. "I can't help you rigth now stores open at 11am, call us back i will transfer you to Antoni Melani dresses. 🙄🙄🙄 As some who has worked in retail and managed multiple clothing stores, I know that customer service should be professional, responsible answered courteous-regardless store hours. Even I'd the store isn't technically opened, answering the phones means you're representing the business. This staff clearly lacked urgency, communication and basic respect for the customer . It's unfortunate, because I used to enjoy shopping at Dillards , but after this experience, I truly feel that they don't value their...
I had a fantastic shopping experience at Dillard’s, thanks to Tere in the women’s dresses department on the second floor. She was incredibly helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to assist my mom and me during our visit. Unlike some sales associates who can be either too pushy or completely inattentive, Tere struck the perfect balance—offering assistance without being overbearing.
When we found a dress we loved that was missing a price tag, she took the time to look into it and, after finding a similar style, honored the price so I could complete my purchase without any hassle. Her dedication and professionalism made our experience smooth and enjoyable, and we left the store happy and satisfied.
Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for other departments. The makeup section, in particular, was the complete opposite—filled with employees who seemed more interested in judging customers than helping them. Instead of being welcoming or approachable, they gave off an uninviting, dismissive attitude that made shopping there uncomfortable.
The team in the makeup department could definitely learn from Tere’s example. Great customer service makes all the difference, and if more employees had her attitude, the shopping experience at Dillard’s would be much more...
Read moreYeah its a good place to shop, but I don't know what's up with the staff, they really made us feel unwelcomed. I went with 2 of my lady friends, we were shopping for a decent casual dress for one of them who was having a date that night. As we looked around on the second floor this older woman with long darkish blonde hair came up to us and asked if we needed help and we said no were alright thank you, and she went to her coworker a few feet away and started talking loudly on how we might be trying to steal?? Next thing you know one of them calls for a security officer to moniter our area, they did this by calling out numbered codes that apparently resemble the officer and the area. With the vibes alone it was all too obvious.. So we went to the fitting room cause we found a dress for my friend, and as she walked out we were impressed and we asked the sales woman for her opinion you know to try to loosen up the sharp edges between us. And she responds with "take it or leave it". We decided to leave the dress and look...
