UNLESS YOU ARE A TEENAGER LOOKING FOR A QUINCEANERA OR FORMAL/PROM DRESS, I WOULD NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE!!!!!!
I am a bride who ordered my wedding dress through this store last November. They told me it would be in by March so I called 3 weeks into the month and asked if my dress had arrived. They told me it would be delivered on March 30, but could possibly be up to 2 weeks late. So when I didn't get a call after 3 weeks I called and they told me "o yeah, your dress is here. You can come in any time after this weekend to pick it up." I told them I probably wouldn't be able to pick it up till the next weekend due to the fact that I work 2 jobs during the week. I then called again during the week to ask about getting the dress fitted when I picked it up and told them I would be coming in on Saturday. I called again Friday to confirm that I was going to be there Saturday. I showed up Saturday with my family, future family and best friend to see my dress for the first time and try it on only to find out that they had moved it that morning into storage. Apparently whoever I talked to at the store didn't put a note on my dress saying it was going to be picked up, and they needed room in their stock room for the formal/prom dresses that were coming in, so they moved the dress to an off-site storage facility. Their excuse was they needed the room and since my wedding isn't till September I wasn't going to be coming for my dress any time soon. They then proceeded to tell me that I could come back next weekend and the dress would be there. They didn't try anything to reconcile the situation except to tell me to come back a week later. This was the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, and I have been working in retail for 8 years.
As a bride you would expect that a "bridal" shop would treat you like a princess, with the utmost attention and care, not like you weren't as important as a bunch of teenagers looking for a prom dress. My experience here made me feel like my purchase wasn't as important as prom season. I felt embarrassed in front of all my guests and am actually too embarrassed to invite them again when I do go and pick up the dress. This store ruined my whole experience of purchasing a bridal gown, a major milestone as a bride when planning a wedding.
I will never do business...
Read moreMy daughter and I were looking for a homecoming dress for her, back in October 2024, and we decided to pop into Bonita Bridal in Buena Park. We instantly loved it and were helped with remarkable attention. We ended up getting 2 dresses. One for homecoming and one for prom later in the school year. We were able to get her shoes and headpiece there as well. The prom dress needed alterations, but because it wasn't a high priority for us, I told them they could take their time. We also live over 5 hours away. We live 4 hours away from any "real" cities in any direction we choose to go, but happened to be in that vicinity for a family vacation. The dress was ready faster than I anticipated! And I didn't have the chance to go travel right away to pick it up, however, they do mail dresses! The message to ship it out was misplaced and there was a hiccup in communication, but after a short phone call on Dec. 19 with WENDY, it was all taken care of! She was amazing! Very quick, efficient, and communicative and we should be receiving the dress in a couple weeks (due to holidays, and like I said- it is no rush, it is for prom). Wendy- thank you for figuring it all out and being of magnificent assistance to us. I appreciate you! And for all the assistance from other staff that we received on Oct. 20th- even picking out the dresses, and helping my daughter zip up and pinning the dresses and giving suggestions. Very great experience! I would definitely recommend! And I would ignore the negative reviews. Just be a decent, kind, understanding human being- mistakes happen. I get it. And we all have bad days, so just give people a break sometimes. More people should leave reviews when they are satisfied and had an amazing experience, instead of just when they are upset and angry. I am most grateful for you Wendy and floor staff on Oct. 20th, and for the wonderful person(s) who altered the dress we will be receiving soon. (I will update with pictures when we receive it, along with pictures of the other...
Read moreMy experience here 4 years ago, was negative. I purchased a dress with some alterations and lost my recept. Without a receipt owner will gave you hard time. The system the use here is not the best organized, you come hoping they will keep a copy of your receipt, most likely they might have missplace it. Coincidence or a tactic of doing business!!. Owner becomes aggresive about it.and I decide to forget about it, no bid deal. I lost $150 in a dep for a dress that I wasn't able to get. I bring this experience because recently While searching quinceanera dresses at this location I saw the same issue with a customer! Customer lost his receipt n was inquiring about her purchase! Owner was looking all over her pile of recepts and again she couldn't find it. Customer said I am not moving until you help me out, owner got upset n told her she will call security to get her out if she didn't relax. Owner was very aggressive and was not helping resolve the issue. My recomendation for the customer is to keep that recepit if they want to make a purchase here since all sales are final. But you can go Los Angeles on San Pedro st and you will find good prices and less headaches. For the owner I will recomend to scan all receipts after they make the transaction to be a better place to shop instead of taking aventage of customers! Unless you find a dress with not alterations than it should be a good place to buy other wise I don't...
