DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse — Local services in Buena Park

I purchase a gift card through Afterpay on 01/09/24 @ 2pm so I can use at DSW. At checkout they didn’t want to accept my gift card, I told the manager at that time if she knew about AfterPay she said yes. I told her this gift card comes from them but they declined to use the gift card. The manager on site has no customer service skills as to resolve these type of issues and confirming that in fact the gift card was valid!! I talked to Afterpay representative and gave them the store information, they will talk to them to see what was the reason the store declined to use the gift card. Really upsetting to see this and treat the customer as a delinquent, nobody is trying to rob anything!! This store needs a better team on the floor that has actual knowledge about these cases!! She said they don’t manually punch in the numbers for the gift card! Many other stores do punch in gift card number at the register, DSW is not a high end store to be...

Just ha the worst experience at DSW (Discount Shoe Warehouse). Yes a discount store that sells less than perfect shoes or clearance shoes. My wife and I went in to buy a pair of UGGS so like normal you take the box of shoes to go try them on. Turns out only one shoe so checked the display to see. Nope different size then checked anouther box 1 shoe. So logic they are doing this due to theft. So ask a gal for the other shoe. This is what she said, "I have to buy them first to make sure they are not stolen from the store". So now I am accused of being someone that will steel shoes. Yes, that made me made and I did raise my voice not yelling and she threatens to call the police and security. Turns out she is supposedly the manager and refuses to give me her name when I said I would call corporate. Johny the evening security guard on 2/18/24 he made my shopping experience here a very uncomfortable one. My family is big we are 8, since we came in my kids were just looking at the toys and he was just looking at them like they were going to take all the toys and run ( my kids are little) he would just walk around keeping an eye on us ( the only Hispanics at the moment) he even asked my kid where the pokemon cards were when he had put them back right in front of his dumb face.
