T.J. Maxx — Local services in Buena Park

This store deserves better counter clerk(s). Whenever I come to this store with my nephew in wheelchair, many clerks told me to come to last counter (w/ handicap logo attached) directly next time, instead of waiting in line. I tried to check out at that last counter they told me to come because my nephew felt tired and sleepy today. We stood in front of that counter and waited to call us up but the clerk looked us couple of times and looked away and called other people again and again. I never wanted for any special treatment but did not expected to be ignored like this. YOU SHOULDN'T BE BRAGGING ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE NOT CAPABLE OF OR WILLING... This place is my go-to T.J. Maxx for one, the convenience, and two for the great finds. I prefer T.J. Maxx over Ross or Marshalls because it is usually on the most organized out of the 3 stores. It's a great place to find high-end items for discounted prices as well. For example, during my last trip to the store, I found makeup products you would find in Sephora stores, and Hollister branded jeans. I also found affordable clothes like t-shirts with my favorite music artists. As both a customer and a retail employee, I had a HUGE problem with how rude an assciate was. I walked in 10 minutes before close just to look around to see if it was worth my time to come shopping the next day. They close at 9:30. At 9:29 I was making my way to the front door when the associate stopped me and said, word for word, “excuse me, we’re closed...you need to leave.” MY JAW LITERALLY DROPPED TO THE FLOOR.
