I very very rarely ever write a 5 star review. Like, hardly ever. But there's a little history with me and UH.
I remember when I was in my late 20's early 30's (if I remember correctly) driving by this place on my way to Costco. Back then, I remember walking in there and thinking to myself, "Dang... all this stuff is cool.". But being young and broke (let's be honest, we've all been there...) I knew that I couldn't afford things that were that beautiful and unique given where I was professionally and financially at the time.
Fast forward until not too recently, things have changed for me. I went back to University, graduated with a degree that contributes more to society, and now I'm exactly where I need to be. Words can't explain how good it felt to come back to this place and buy ALL the cool things I want for my home - wife permitting.
About the store - Trying to describe the collections of furniture in this place is like asking someone to explain what a color looks like. It's impossible and can only be seen. One word that I can think of that's fitting is 'eclectic'. There's absolutely something for everyone in here. There are some legitimate art pieces in here. Some are awesome, and some weren't for me. Again... think eclectic. There was art and furniture from Bali, India, Vietnam, Malaysia (I think? Could be wrong on Malaysia), and a few other countries that I can't recall at the moment. On a totally separate note, Mike's Spotify playlist is pretty awesome. It's oddly fitting given the vibe of the store.
About the people - Mike and his family are super easy About the people - Mike and his family are super easy to talk to. They'll take the time to discuss the look, or better yet vibe, that you're after and bounce some ideas around.
The prices - Lets again be honest here. This is far from Ikea. There's nothing here, to my knowledge anyway, that will require you to assemble anything. That being said, this place is also very far from high end places life West Elm, Crate and Barrel, La-Z-Boy, or Potter Barn. It's absolutely reasonable and logical. A vast majority of the time, you get EXACTLY what you pay for. The delivery experience - Tio and tall guy (I'm terrible with names - could be wrong on both counts) were on time, professional, courteous, and careful especially with my new wood floors. 10/10.
TLDR: Just stop by. Talk to Mike. If you buy go into it knowing the delivery process is great. Support small businesses.
You'll be happy that you did if not just to go and appreciate the wall...
Read moreI purchased a custom acacia wood dining table with U-shaped metal legs from this store on April 9, 2025. In September 2025, one of the welded metal legs failed, causing the 200-pound tabletop to collapse, creating a serious safety hazard in my home and to my family which includes children. Thankfully, no one was injured, but this defect made the table completely unsafe and unusable.
I immediately contacted the store owner, Mike, and requested a full refund, but he refused, offering ONLY a replacement or store credit. Stating he NEVER offers a refund. I do not want a replacement or store credit, as there is nothing else in his store that could replace our family dining table. The store owner has terrible communication, where he will ignore your phone calls and text messages and avoid you all together when things go wrong. I am requesting an email address to submit a formal written request for a refund.
I want to warn potential customers to beware when purchasing acacia live edge wood custom tables with U-shaped metal legs from this store, as this is a serious safety hazard and the owner has refused to take accountability.
I will update this review with the final resolution, including whether the store owner issues a full refund for this safety hazard item, or if further escalation action is required. My hope is that the store owner does the right thing and issues a refund back to the credit card so that we can purchase a replacement dining table elsewhere.
Mike was charming and personable in the store, very friendly and nice, but do not be fooled, our experience afterward showed a lack of accountability and poor...
Read moreWe've spent the day shopping for a sleeper sofa. Every furniture store we went to had at least 6-8 weeks for delivery and I didn't like any of the products. We drove by Urban Habitat, and decided to stop in, and WOW. This store makes me desperately want to redecorate my home because there's So much high quality and eclectic items. We were greeted immediately by Mike. He was charming and friendly, we told him what we were looking for, he walked us about 20 feet to the right and showed us the option he had for a pull out couch. He showed us the most comfortable stylish couch and I am so thankful because this is exactly what I wanted and I can't believe how serendipitous this whole experience was! We were there for 2 minutes and I found what I was looking for. Fast forward to today, that very same couch is now in my guest bedroom, less than 24 hours later and I couldn't have had a greater experience. On the contrary, I have had plenty of horrible experiences when it comes to shopping for furniture. My couch was delivered and set up for me with no problems at all. I will now only go here for any future purchases. So affordable and so contemporary, I am still...
