Buyer beware. This store does not stand behind the products they sell. Four days ago we purchased a $188 Faherty pull over for my son. He wore it once and when we washed it we noticed a hole had developed in the fabric along one of the stripes. It is very obvious that the fibers pulled apart in that spot as it is a soft weave. I immediately contacted Sunflowers and was told to bring it in, which I did. I was honest and explained what had happened, we had purchased it just four days ago, it had been worn, etc. They refused to return or exchange, even though the hole was obviously a defect in the fabric. I dealt with Izzy the intern, and the store manager, Steph. The store policy is that they don’t accept returns if the tags are removed, however most businesses will waive that if there is a flaw in what they sold. Not Sunflowers. I can’t recommend this store for any purchase, since they don’t stand behind what they sell. If I had purchased the pullover directly from Faherty they would have accepted it for a return or exchange. The moral of the story—just buy what you want online, directly from the retailer. All the brands they carry at Sunflowers are available online from each of the actual brands, like Faherty, and you will have much better customer service, and a company that stands behind their products. Which they do not at Sunflowers...
Read moreMy second time in this store and I went with a friend ( this was yesterday.) while I was there we looked around the free people clothing and then went upstairs to see the lily pulitzer. The entire time we were on the second floor this woman who worked there was following us around, staring at us, and would stay around 2 feet from us. It felt super uncomfortable. That’s not the worse part. I try something on and I get a call from my friend saying how uncomfortable she was. She’s a woman of color and she said while she was trying something on the worker opened the curtains to “ check” on her over and over as well as telling her multiple times to CHECK OUT GO CHECK OUT. she felt so uncomfortable she had to leave the store. This was all while I was in the fitting room. When I got done I opened my curtain and the woman was standing SO close to the curtain I literally jumped. I get lily Pulitzer is sort of expensive but why were we hounded like that? That specific worker was an older ish woman ( probably 40s-50s) and it’s insane that in 2025 people are still being stereotyped like that. I seriously loved this store but after yesterdays experience I don’t think...
Read moreI’ve been wanting to visit this store for a while….so I was happy to have finally made the time to go in. They have a nice variety of clothing and accessories…purchased a few things…but what really shocked me was the extreme unfriendliness of the older woman working there that morning. No greeting when I entered, never asked if I needed any help with anything, and didn’t say a word when I checked out. Took my stuff, rung me up, and stared at me….I had to ask her what my total was….like really??? I almost wanted to put my stuff back but decided not to be petty…. It was a beautiful Sunday morning….I'm patronizing your establishment, why be so miserable?? There were some cute little bags behind the register that caught my eye but I didn’t even ask her to see them….google imaged them and found them elsewhere….Clearly wont...
