I want to preface this by saying my daughter's experience at this facility was wonderful, but as the parent there were a few frustrations I had with the business side of things.

My daughter was enrolled in the pre-crickets class, and all of the instructors were amazing! So friendly, welcoming, patient, and you could tell they really loved their job! My daughter was very excited to see her coach every weekend, and still had a great time whenever a sub had to cover the class. Each weekend there was a different theme which was fun, and my daughters skills formed very quickly in this class.

The administrative staff were very friendly and helpful, and one thing I really liked was the ability to text the front desk if calling was difficult. My frustrations with the business operations had to do with the frequency of cancelled classes, and the make-up token system. I am a working parent so we only had availability to attend classes on Saturdays. Saturday classes were the only weekend class, so if we had to miss a Saturday for any reason, it was very difficult to make that class up. Make-up tokens expired after only 2-3 months which also put on the pressure to make classes up asap. We had tried attending a make-up class after work/school one day, but it just wasn't a good fit for my daughter because she was too tired to participate that late in the day. We also tried doing a make-up class immediately after her Saturday class, but again was too difficult for her 3yo attention span. The only other option to use these make-up tokens was to bring her to open gym, but I did not like the idea of paying for a class with an experienced instructor, but having to use that token for an open gym session where I, as the parent, had no gymnastics experience and was not in a position to teach her these skills on my own in that setting.

The difficulty we had with making up classes had nothing to do with this business and was purely a personal issue, but the issue I had with the way this business is run was how often they cancelled classes for holidays and camps. There were multiple occasions where they would cancel classes for the entire week and instead have camp as an option. However, you had to pay extra to attend these camps, they were not included in the cost you were already paying. My daughter was not able to attend these camps, so it was frustrating to constantly have her class cancelled. If they had these camps and still had regular class options offered, I would have been more okay with that. However camp being the only option the entire week felt unfair to families who could not afford that extra cost or fit it into our schedules. Holiday closures were also frustrating because they would cancel a class even if the holiday didn't fall on the same day as the class. While I understand that the staff should be able to get 3-day weekends, it just added to the fact that her regularly scheduled classes were constantly being cancelled. It felt like a never ending cycle where I was constantly trying to use all the tokens before they expired.

Overall, my daughter had a wonderful experience, but as the paying parent I was frustrated a lot. The tuition cost is more than others in the area and I was willing to pay that amount for a good facility. However, the make-up tokens were difficult to redeem in such a short amount of time, and it also felt like this facility was money hungry with how much they prioritized these camps over the classes we were already paying for. There were many times where I felt my money was wasted if I couldn't use a make-up token fast enough. My wallet can't justify coming back to this facility, which is very unfortunate considering how much my daughter loved it. I think this is a great place to be if you have a very flexible schedule that will allow you to make-up sessions throughout the week. It’s so clean, it’s at the perfect location next to the beach, and it has the highest quality team of employees. The coaches are all wonderful, the staff is so friendly, the families make you feel like part of their family, the gymnasts are all so supportive of one another….honestly has been the smoothest transition for our daughter Mia. She strikes what I consider is the right balance of making the class fun and engaging for the kids while teaching them technique and discipline. She’s also incredibly personable . I highly recommend!
