Laub's Country Store/Carmel Classics — Local services in Carmel-by-the-Sea

My wife and I bought a load of T-shirts and Hoodies in their Carmel store, as the choice is great. One hoody was too small and when she returned it later that day, they exchanged it, but unfortunately I didn't notice they put the same size back in the bag by the time we had reached our next destination, 200 miles down the coast. After contacting them via email, they sent a replacement hoody to our final Hotel in Vegas, plus a nice cap. Excellent customer...

The woman at the counter did not offer to help or say hello, but did not hesitate to follow me around the store as if my elderly mother and I were going to steal something. It's too bad because I would've wanted to buy something.

There are a couple of other reviews that also call out discrimination that the owner/staff have not commented on, so I'm under the impression that that's how they intend to do business rather than a one off occurrence....

This establishment does know the Law in regards to discrimination. Had a horrible experience there shopping with my sister for her birthday.They violated my civil rights. I hope rhey will educate themselves and their rude staff as to what is Law and our civil rights. So no one else will be dicriminated on.
