I had a silver bangle made at this store using 9 diamonds from one of my late grandmother's rings. Almost immediately - perhaps the second or third time I wore the item - one of the diamonds came out and was lost. The owner agreed to replace it, but of course the sentimental value was gone since the diamond had belonged to my grandmother. Following this repair, I lost another diamond from one of the settings (I don't know whether it was from the same setting in the bangle or a different one). When I again returned to the store the owner questioned my veracity and accused me of some sort of scam! He said that, if I were truly serious about having the bracelet made with diamonds, I would have ordered it in gold rather in silver. I cannot express how shocking and insulting this was on so many levels. While my ex-husband had commissioned a very expensive item for me from this store several years prior, I myself could not afford a customized gold bracelet (not that this was any of his business). I am beyond disgusted with this establishment and urge anyone who reads this to avoid taking their business to this individual. This is in response to the unfortunate review left by Sadie Borgia . We have previously encouraged to you contact the store so that we may resolve this situation but you have not done so to date . You claim that the owner was rude and condescending and that he accused you of a 'scam ' . Firstly , the owner for the past 11 years has been a woman . Secondly , a web search for 'Sadie Borgia " turns up nothing except this review . Our sales records do not show anyone with that name and our custom orders don't reflect ever having set diamonds in a silver bangle . Approximately 1 month ago, a dear friend from out of town and myself visited this store. We saw a beautiful ring in the window that we wanted to purchase. We walked in the store and the worker behind the counter stared at us and never greeted us. There was another woman standing there with the clerk. It was such a quiet awkward moment.
