Kendra Scott — Local services in Charleston

I did not have the best experience at this location after me and my friends spent over $300 together on Kendra Scott jewelry. My friends and I wanted to create our own jewelry at the station towards the back of the store. The employee Maddie was fantastic, welcoming and personable. While one friend and I was picking out our stones. I was holding my bracelet in my hand and another employee who was shorter with brown curly hair (I think her name is Brooke C) walked over to me took the bracelet out of my hand and stared at me. I then said “the gems are not secure in the bracelet and aren’t locked in yet”(didn’t want them to fall out) which she responded with “well are you buying it” in a unfriendly tone (made me feel stupid). Time went on I ended up paying for my bracelet and then she informed me she didn’t charge me for one of the stones I chose. She did not seem apologetic for the mistake she made and made it seem like it was my fault. I feel at an establishment which is higher end, employees should be more respectful. My daughter and I went into the Charleston branch on 8/26/2023 because she was wanting to get some pieces of jewelry she was looking for. When we walked in, there was a group of kids in the back of the store and two adults that were being helped. Someone checking out and my daughter and I. We had been walking all around Charleston sightseeing and shopping all day in the heat. We we both in normal t-shirt and shorts. Another group of girls walked in that were dressed up and were right off asked if they needed any help and was offered drinks while offering the kids cookies, cupcakes and drinks. We continued to look just to see if anyone would even attempt to help us. She was trying to find a certain ring she was wanting. The lady that works there with glasses and blond hair judged A book by its cover instead of treating us like the other customers. I would have been happy to drop whatever amount for the jewelry my daughter wanted, but instead we left. It’s said when an establishment can make an 18 year old feel like they don’t...

I’d like to preface this by saying that I rarely, if ever, leave negative reviews. My husband called 2-3 weeks ago and was told they’re open every day of the week despite the website stating they are closed on Mondays. He was informed they were closed on Mondays due to COVID but had since reopened on Mondays. Today, Monday 8/31 is my birthday and he had planned a surprise day in Charleston, which included going to the Kendra Scott store and picking out new pieces of jewelry. Before leaving he called once again and the recording stated they are open on Mondays. We drove 2 hrs from Myrtle Beach and got here around 2pm, only to find that the store was closed. It was extremely disappointing and in my opinion, poor customer service on behalf of KS. I haven’t even stepped foot in this store and feel that their misinformation...
