Who would have thought that making candles was so fun? Well this was truly a fun way to spend our First Ladies Trip to Charleston! The store itself is bright and inviting. The staff are all amazing too!

I love that each scent is numbered so there is no prejudging a particular name of a candle. They offer 100 different scents which all have different scent profiles. We were lucky in that we didn’t prebook our class but they had spots available. I suggest reserving a spot online before going. The class was taught by Jaxx. Y’all she is so cool! Loved her energy and how she guided us through the complete candle making process. During the class they offer 20 different scents that you can create your candles from. Scent number 75 was what I chose and I can’t wait to get mine home to burn them. One thing to note is that your candles have to cure overnight so if you’re from out of town, plan accordingly or they can ship your order.

An Amazing Experience for Me and My Daughter! I don’t usually write reviews, but I had such a great experience that I had to share. My daughter and I took a candle-making class at a lovely candle store in downtown Charleston, and it was one of the highlights of our trip! The store itself is beautiful and full of amazing scents. Abby, who was working there and also ended up being our candle-making class instructor, was absolutely wonderful—so kind, helpful, and patient. She made the whole experience so much fun and easy to follow, even for someone like me who’s never done anything like this before. You can tell she really enjoys what she does, and that made the class even better. Avery was also very sweet and helpful in the store, helping us find candles and answering all our questions. Both Abby and Avery made us feel so welcome. As a mom, it meant a lot to share something creative and relaxing with my daughter in such a positive and friendly environment. I can't express my thanks near enough for the outstanding customer service I received from Candlefish.

I had ordered a couple of items from them, and a week later I received notice from UPS that my package was delivered. When I went to my post office to retrieve it, they claimed it was never dropped off. UPS claims it was. In short, the package was either lost or stolen and nobody was being truthful.

When I reached out to Candlefish to ask for guidance on what to do with this situation, they exceeded any expectation I could have imagined from them. By the end of that day, they had offered to replace my order with a new one and genuinely expressed how sorry they were that this happened. Within a day and a half, I had my new package (delivered to a safer address this time) and I was so excited.
