The customer service at this place is horrible and if I could give zero stars I would. I completed a private class w/ Katherine which went well. She was great. Afterwards I was told to do another private class because she didn't get to show me everything due to a group being scheduled during my private. I chose not to pay another $100 because that was on them with scheduling and not because of me. To add, I was never told that I would have to complete 9+ classes before taking other classes. And because I know they will respond to my review, I understand safety procedures, etc. So no need to reply and tell me what I already know.
I called a few days later because I had questions before signing up for classes. I was calling for hours and no one answered. Someone eventually texted me which I thought was annoying bc how do you have a receptionist that can you text but don't answer the phone. Anyways, I was able to get a few questions answered via text but still wanted to communicate with someone directly. The biggest turn off was the receptionist attempting to charge my card for a service without my permission and then asking me to send a picture of my card. Thank God I had my card locked because that was unprofessional and did not give her the ok to charge my card.
I then called to attempt the address my concerns with the issue of my card attempting to be charged without my permission, along with wanting to ask some other questions about classes, etc. The lady that answered the phone was rude. She interrupted me every time I was trying to either ask a question or explain something. She was so unprofessional and rushed me off the phone, saying that she or someone will call me back. I never received a callback and didn't care to at this point because I decided to just go elsewhere.
I did find another Pilates place with better hospitality and will be...
Read moreI was very excited about trying this place. I've been doing reformer Pilates for 7 years and was looking for a studio when I moved to Charlotte from Houston in March. I was so excited when I found this studio so close to me and so I bought the new customer 3 pack so I could try it out. The studio was supposed to be opening that week for live classes but the opening was postponed due to covid and the classes I scheduled were cancelled. 2 months later I go to check on the studios opening and to my surprise it is open. I had signed up for their email updates but never got an update. I went online to schedule a class but the 3 classes I purchased showed expired. I contacted the studio to see what was going on and was informed that the studio had been open for 1 1/2 months and that I couldn't use the classes because they they expire 30 days from the date of purchase and there were no exceptions, even if the studio was closed for part of that time. I understand many businesses are struggling right now and the need for policies and rules for businesses but this was a big disappointment for me. I just wanted to take their reformer classes. COVID has added complications to most people's lives and forced everyone to be a little more flexible but apparently not this studio. I wasn't trying to get anything for free and I was just hoping to be able to use the classes I purchased. I didn't no show for any classes, didn't receive an email saying they were opening, etc. It's very disappointing that this NY based chain came into Charlotte, sure smaller city, but doesn't see the importance of placing the same value of community as other local studios. Still sad about this but luckily there are...
Read moreI purchased a Groupon for five classes at this studio and then received an email from the owner that I had to pay an additional $55 for an intro class before being able to use the Groupon. This additional class and subsequent fee was not mentioned in the Groupon and I cannot help but feel that they tried to trick me by failing to mention that. The lack of transparency does note bode well. They were also unwilling to provide any customer service for me even though the mistake was on their end. I will be taking my business elsewhere and would recommend that you think twice about working with...
