New Creations Inc — Local services in Charlotte

I have been going to New Creations since before I could remember. When I was a little girl, Cindy, the owner, would masterfully cut my hair and while I waited for her to do the same with my mom and sister, I would go around and sweep up fallen locks off the floor. I have no clue why my little kid self wanted to do this but it seemed like fun at the time! These days I've grown up and moved away, but every time I go somewhere else they just don't understand my curly hair. I find myself scheduling appointments for New Creations near holidays when I go home to Charlotte. I see the stylist Natalie now, us curly haired girls have to stick together; she always does an amazing job! She can always work me into her busy schedule, even coming in early before the shop opens. New Creations is like family, and I wouldn't have it...

Walked away with a fine looking haircut but was really frustrated with it coming out much shorter than I asked - despite pleading many times in many ways that I wanted to keep it long, the gals were much more excited about the “transformation” happening and the photo op. I felt totally ignored as she followed her own vision and chopped away my hard earned length :(

It was a nice shop and really pleasant experience otherwise (and the haircut does look fine!) but just frustrating when I was really specific with the ask. Don’t want this review to be hurtful as I do appreciate the work, but just something to be paid...

Ive been looking for a place to get my hair cut in uptown for a reasonable price for a while. Called the day before and they fit me in with no difficulty. Walked in at my appointment time and was taken back right away. I just needed a simple routine trim which took only 30 minutes. Elisha cut my hair and she was so friendly and kind.
