I have been trying to get in contact with this office for over a 2 years, I have sent so many forms through the public website and have never gotten any kind of response. If you have a way for citizens to contact you, why don't you respond? We take time out of our lives to vote and in some cases for the mayor only to get nothing, not even a robo-automated response, nothing as far as we hear you and are working on it or even a generic thank you reply, that's probably the easiest thing to set up but you get nothing when contacting this office. If you work for the citizens and very few take the time to reach out why don't you take our messages more seriously? From ward changes to basic city services that never happen, I would think citizens who take the time should be given the time back. All I have ever tried is to make things better, and the alderman, ward managers, the 311 operators, the city management, no one takes any of us seriously and thats a shame as we never get to not pay our taxes when the bill comes in but what those taxes go to pay for never come full circle. Do a better job for your citizens, go after dilapidated properties that bring down property values, go after citable offenses that bring revenue to the city, treat all building the same, if you have to have a sign on your rental building for contact information in Lincoln Park why don't they have the same standard in...
Read moreThe city of Chicago need to keep their airports aircraft traffic in check it's been 3 days since I've slept more than a few hours . I live 20 miles west of the airport and the faa agent who laughed at me for complaining. Stated the put almost 1200+ flights over my area a day. Due to the lack of sleep I crashed a vehicle last summer. Countless days of sleepless nights . It's not our fault they choose to do an expansion to increase their profits while jeopardizing the health and safety of the communities who want nothing to do with crook County Chicago. This is unfortunately the only option to complain bc no one will hear our voices and take us seriously. They do not care because they're not directly west of the airport where they've decided to establish a super highway...
Read moreIn the past 5 or 7 months I've been seeing on the Northwest side Latino families standing on busy street corners with signs asking for a handout and for help. This has been on the up rise as I've been seeing more and more Latino families. They are on the street corners, outside grocery stores, even outside a Pet Supplies store. I'm Mexican and this hurts me to see this. Chicago Mayor's Office, what are you doing to help these families. Also, what are you doing to get these families vaccinated for the measles and covid shots. During Covid when the vaccine came out, there were events throughout the Chicago Latino areas offering the vaccines. I am now questioning your ability...
