Another Door — Local services in City of Beacon

Absolutely love this store and adore the owner, Andrea. The first time I walked in there, I was immediately comfortable. I was in dire need of a comfortable and practical pair of sneakers, and voila!, a pair of brand new NOBULLs size 8.5 (just my size) were magically staring at me from the shoe rack. Perfect size and comfort for my very tired feet. A few weeks later, my next purchase was of vintage folding chairs that my customers (@bagelishbeacon) can now find in front of my shop on days we are are open. The perfect little mid-point spot for resting chairs for weary walkers venturing from the East and West of Main St., Beacon. I can't wait to find my next treasure...

Sometimes, I realize I'm wearing an outfit that I got entirely from Another Door. I love to thrift for fun reasons; but also for affordability and sustainability. The shop owner has the best energy. Where do I even start? The shop grabs you in from the outside with the eye catching neon green depression glass, which I learned has low levels of uranium oxide that literally glows under UV light. The sweetest human, Andrea, who owns this shop was educating me about it, and I find that so fascinating!
