Dave the Butcher — Local services in City of Beacon

My husband and I were looking for a place to eat in the neighborhood. While we were walking, I saw the name of this place, checked the menu, and we went inside right away. What attracted me the most was the locally sourced meats. It may sound weird, but I love the smell of good-quality meat. It reminded me of my childhood when my grandparents and I would always go to the local store in the village to buy pork from our neighbors, who had a small farm. We had brunch, which was delicious, and I also picked up some cuts of pork. I’ll definitely be coming back for dinner next time...

Stopped in for breakfast and tried the Bacon Egg & Cheese. It was delicious coming with scrambled eggs, thick-cut house smoked bacon and a spring of green grapes on the side. I was caught off guard by the egg being scrambled as that's not typical--- I'm not usually a fan of scrambled eggs but this one was quite good. The house smoked bacon was amazing and I'd consider buying some for home. The owners were very friendly...

What a great addition to Beacon!!! Just had the fresh smoked chicken sammich with Dave's secret white sauce, absolute perfection! This is always my new first thought for BbQing. I appreciate that weekends are tough because everyone walking around needs to eat and they have a lot of work to do, but on these dog days of summer I can stop in after work and get everything I need...
