Paul Brady Wine is an absolute GAME CHANGER. This beautiful hybrid retail shop/winery tasting room/bar has opened a whole new New York world for me. Paul and his team are so knowledgable, friendly and genuinely excited to share all of the best that NY agriculture has to offer. I had no idea New York wines were so amazing! In a time when many of us are trying to eat and drink locally as much as possible, it is such a breath of fresh air to know that world class wines are being made right here in our backyards. On the bar side: Super delicious and interesting NY wines, perfectly balanced cocktails, flights of Paul's PHENOMENAL custom wines (one of which is grown and bottled right here in the Hudson Valley!), and scrumptious cheese, veggie and charcuterie boards make it a place you'll want to stay all night. The retail side boasts one of the prettiest wine displays ever, plus all NY made beers, ciders and spirits. Run, don't walk, friends.

One of my favorite places to go. It's a liquor store with a bar inside. The wine and beer selection is great and I love that you can also buy bottles and cans in the store. Drinks are always on point. The vibe works well whether you’re with a big group or just by yourself. There are always cute dogs at the bar which makes it even better. Solid food too. They serve one of the best espresso martinis I’ve had, made with bourbon cream, which makes it unique. It’s just off the corner, away from the main street but still only steps away.

Nicely designed beer and wine store which includes a small bar area too. The staff are all extremely friendly and will do everything to help you choose the right wine with you. All the beers that are out on the shop floor are also found in the fridge by the cashier. The store is on the pricier end so expect to pay around $20-25 for x4 beers and the same or more for a bottle of wine.

This place is incredible! We came here three times in one day: first to check out the selection and the staff (Emily!) was so friendly and helpful when walking us through the variety of local wines and cider that we came back an hour later to do a wine tasting of the Paul Brady label wine. These wines were so unique and refreshing, and again the staff was so knowledgeable that we bought a bottle to take home. Emily also ended up giving us recommendations for food and drinks in Beacon that we followed the entire weekend we were there! We felt so welcomed by everyone in the store, including Paul Brady, who reached out to a friend to try get us reservations at booked restaurant. So then we came back AGAIN after dinner to have more drinks. In addition to unique wines, the cocktails at this bar were delicious! We loved this our experience here so much that we ended up coming back again the next night for after-dinner drinks! The staff made us feel so warm and comfortable, and we could tell everyone around us in the bar felt the same way. I can't recommend this shop enough - it is a gem!!!!! Adorable vibe, kind staff, delicious drinks,...

Venue was lovely with attentive staff, but the tasting of Paul Brady curated wines bought back memories of the cheap, often tasteless wines of my college years! I’m familiar with Hudson Valley wines which I enjoy and frequently purchase. The six branded Paul Brady wines were tasteless or had the flavor of flat and watered down Nehi grape or orange soda. The Fauxiolais had a strange scent, while the Skinny Dip Delaware was downright unpleasant and undrinkable! There were a few other customers drinking single glasses of wine or cocktails, which should have served as a hint, as the other wine bar in Beacon was quite busy. If Paul Brady wishes to highlight Hudson Valley wines, he should stick with the winners that are out there rather than curate the ones of his own brand. I rarely post reviews, but felt obligated to give a fair warning to anyone looking for a Hudson Valley...
