Frankenmuth Kayak Adventures — Local services in City of Frankenmuth

We had a beautiful trip, the kayak I rented was super nice, the guy working was very informative about the trip and helpful with the personal kayaks we brought. Definitely a lazy river, there was a slight breeze so it did take a bit longer than expected. The worker didn’t seem very happy that it took us a bit under 5 hours instead of the 4 they plan for when renting the kayaks(we got to pickup at about 5:00), we missed it on the waiver and didn’t hear him mention it at drop off, it really threw the mood off, would’ve been nice to know before we got in the water planning to stop and eat lunch on...

Well I give them one star for being a nice area. But the service is absolutely awful. I dealt with two very young girls running the shop. No manager around or couldn't speak to him. I had called 3 hours prior to make sure I could come BEFORE 4 OR AT FOR. And it was agreed on the phone I could and the girls said they wanted to leave for the day. The website says y'all close at 6. It's very inconsiderate to set something up and then drive all the way there . Probably won't be coming back. Thanks for the view I never saw. Maybe try again next year when there is different seasonal workers there...

We loved the kayak trip. It was the kids first trip and it was a slow and steady ride. All the information our guide gave us on the way to the drop off location was helpful. The kayaks were in good condition and the entire process was easy! We had a really good time! It is a river that has very little current and requires you to paddle most the way.
