It’s ten minutes before closing. Raining outside. Employee already had the door locked. He pretended not see or hear me for a couple minutes as I stood out in the rain knocking on the door. They were open, after all. Finally he approached the door, still six minutes before closing, me now soaking wet, only to tell me that he wasn’t going to open the door and he was closed for the night. I spoke back through the glass saying I only had to buy one thing very quickly and pointed at the clock because he was still technically open. This was the last place open tonight within walking distance. But no luck. I was disappointed. It felt rude and unfriendly.
