I am so overjoyed to have found this place. Art stores like this are dwindling, few and far between nowadays. This is not Blick - and thank goodness.
They have an excellent selection of good quality supplies, the sort of stuff you can't find anymore and is 10x better than "Utrecht's" or "Blick's" brand name materials. They have a huge selection of different paints for all sorts of surfaces like enamel, metal, ceramic etc - a great fully stocked supply of Daniel Smith Watercolors, plenty of great paper options, canvas, panel, paintbrushes (including sable behind the counter), fabric dye - you name it.

For goodness sakes, the people at michaels didn’t even know what a rapidograph was, let alone have the ink for them. Thomson’s on the other hand knew exactly what I was talking about and proceeded to even brand match for me. I also love how stores like this still have drafting tools and other “old fashioned” architectural products. Truly amazing atmosphere I could spend hours in. If you’re debating going, do it.
