Aaron's Rent To Own — Local services in Clarksville

Ran into a situation with this store that could have been handled differently. An associate shows up at our door. I asked him what the visit was for then asked if it was for a payment. The reason I asked him was because my husband was busy at the time and if the visit was for a payment I was going to take care of the payment. I was also confused, because if it was for a payment, we didn’t receive a telephone call, letter nor notice prior to the visit. The employee at the door had no idea what he was at our house for. He said that he wasn’t sure and had to call his manager. At this time my husband comes to the door and speaks with him for a brief moment he leaves and my husband comes into the house to call the store about his account. He talks to I guess was the manager. They were on speaker phone and I began to explain to her how unprofessional it was for the driver to just show up at someone’s door without knowing what was going on with the account. After getting interrupted several times by this person and hardly being able to speak about the situation and this person stating to me that she doesn’t have to talk to me she only needs to talk with my husband, she hangs up the phone. At this time I’m upset and so is my husband. Not to mention, let’s be honest here, had my husband been unavailable and they needed a payment, it would’ve come from me and I think she would’ve talked with me then and not have been so rude and hung up the phone. I was trying to explain to her that the situation could’ve been handled differently but instead of listening she was rude, unprofessional and hung up the phone. I deal with people also in my line of work. If we treated people like she treated me, we wouldn’t have customers, then no business, then no job. Being that our account was not delinquent (my husband had made the payment, she said it didn’t go through but called back and miraculously it did) this could’ve simply been handled better. This situation has put a bad taste in my mouth...

Love this place been dealing with them for years it's very lovely to have this in our neighborhood is good for a person starting off trying to get their life together it's also good for a person that is already having their life together and wanting to update according to the Styles also having different varieties of styles musics washers dryers TV's entertainment's bedroom suits all types of varieties of everything you can imagine there's truly nothing in the store that you can't really ask for the guys all are very nice politely and kind and I really appreciate them being in Indiana they have been a great treasure to me especially one of the managers mr. Kevin he is in the Jeffersonville office I thank him for being in my life he has been there all the time always trying to let me know that sells let me know about different things it's been available for the customers anytime I visit the office or checked in the buildings to see what type of cells that have what kind of varieties of things that have he's always let me know about them and I really truly appreciate all the guys that work there they always politely and thank you for being in the in...

I’m pretty mad about this location and their lies for an item I have over paid for from Aaron’s( and they know ti ). For starts please understand I have perfect payments with this place ..anyway I called the manager to let them know I was moving to another state. (Kevin) The manager advise that my agreement was almost paid off to make a payment of 120 (less some change) and I’d be okay to complete my agreement no worries. Paid it moving on ....Well once I get to my new location here comes a call from Aaron’s. They are NOW saying Kevin the manager sent my file to Corp for non payment. No No No No I was instructed to make one last payment and I was done paying this agreement so how could you now try to come for more money when I did exactly what was advised at that time??!! I cannot believe this place!! I have never had any issues with Aarons ever and I have paid many things off now when I move to this location I owe money WITH A PERFECT PAY HISTORY... get out of here!!
