Very long review incoming. I had the most frustrating experience with this company and would not buy here again. My husband and I came in after buying our first home and decided to finance our furniture here. We bought kitchen, living room and bedroom furniture. Which cost us about 5k total. The experience of coming in to pick out furniture was pleasant and I like our sales associate.
After that, everything went downhill from there. Since we ordered quite a bit of furniture, it was delivered at different times. The first delivery with our bed went fine and came on time to the right place. Second delivery with our couch⌠they came early BEFORE the delivery window and also came to the wrong house. Honest mistake the first time around as we live one street over. They ended up coming back around later in the day after some hassle with the dispatch team. They had originally tried to tell us we had to pay a re delivery fee of like $200 when it wasnât our fault. Additionally, we were made aware the wedge part of our couch wasnât going to be delivered because it broke. Okay, so they tell us it should be delivered on January 6th. That day comes along and I get no text or calls to confirm my order. So I call the store the next day, and they tell me the NEXT delivery would be January 29th. Iâm like âwhat happened to the original delivery date??â And the guy on the phone couldnât give me an answer?! Said there was no notes left by the delivery team⌠uhm okay⌠so they just decided to not deliver at the time they had told us. Great.
Skip forward to a couple days before January 29th. I get a call to confirm my order. The person on the phone tells me that they are delivering 3 pieces of furniture. I said âno, we got the other pieces delivered in December, all we need is the WEDGE.â She assured me that they would update it. Also I had told them on the phone, âplease make sure the delivery address is correct this time!â They assured me it was updated. They also told me my delivery window would be between 9:15-12:15. I had a feeling they would come earlier again, so I set my alarm for 7:30. THANK GOODNESS I was up at that time because I got a text saying they were 15 mins away around 7:45. Over an hour before our delivery window. Not only that but they showed up at the wrong address AGAIN!! I was tracking their location through the link on my phone, and saw for myself they went to the wrong house. I am almost full term pregnant with twins and had to DRIVE to the other street to flag these people down so I could make sure they get to my houseđ¤ I didnât want to have to wait another MONTH to get the rest of this damn couch again. So they show up at my house, and start unloading multiple pieces of this couch! I noticed and came outside to tell them, âwe already have the rest of this couch, we just need one piece!!â The delivery driver had to get a translator on the phone so I could explain. Let just say, it was NOT the delivery drivers fault, idk who exactly is responsible but they had reassured me that my address and order would be updated. You would think too that they wouldnât mess up my address again after the last time.
Thatâs not even all of my qualms with this company. I also tried to return our mattress we bought and slept on for less than 30 days. Manager Christine told me over the phone that I had passed my 7 day return window and 30 days for comfort exchange. Wasnât aware we only had 7 days of sleeping on it in order to get a refund. And the comfort exchange is 120 days, as stated on their website. So why tell me 30 days? I also tried to ask if I could exchange it for another piece of furniture, cause Iâm sure itâs money they donât want to lose out on. But nope they said they canât do that either.
All in all. I am beyond outraged and frustrated by everything Iâve had to deal with. I do not usually leave bad reviews like this, but I feel like this had to be said. I had high hopes after we picked out our furniture. But it seems like after they get your money, they just DONT...

In the very beginning of September my husband and I purchased a coffee table from this store, we were very hesitant at first due to the delivery fee being high, but we took a shoot and said we will get it from them anyways because we were guaranteed a delivery in November. Last week, Nov. 11 I made a call to the store regarding my delivery because it stated Dec. 31 on the ticket, we did not negotiate this date, so I reached out to get some support. Well I NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE HAD SUCH HORRIBLE SERVICE. Wednesday I was told the manager will call me on Friday because she is the one that helped me with our purchase and she is out for the day, but Friday comes around and NO CALL ALL DAY. So I decided to call back on Saturday, when I finally get a hold of the manger for about 5 minutes I have a very short and rude toned conversation from her, she tells me that she will give me a call back in an hour because they are âbusyâ. Well an hour passes by, actually, the whole day goes by and no phone call. So I call again on Sunday, but I wasnât able to get a hold of the manager until about 4 pm on Sunday, when again, she says âwe are busyâ and that she will have to call me back on Monday to give me an answer about my concerns with my order. We are now on Thursday, Nov. 19 and I have yet to hear from this manager. At what point does the customer matter? At what point do you stop using excuses for failing at your job? The amount of completely unacceptable service that I have received from this place is just beyond me. This was my first time purchasing from here and it will definitely be my last. I have never in my entire life felt so disrespected by a âmanagerâ and mind you, I was respectful to this person EACH time I tried to have a conversation with her, but she chose to be rude and short, she chose to give me excuses as to why she canât help me, or why she doesnât have an answer, or why she never calls until I call. I am highly disappointed, have no idea when my purchase will be arriving, if ever at this point. But I will never recommend this store to family, friends, and not even my worst enemy. No one deserves to be treated this way.
Update (Dec. 13): I finally received my coffee table after thanksgiving, in November like I was supposed to, but I still continue to be highly disappointed with this company. I was reached out by someone higher up than the store regarding my situation that made this happen, I was pleased about that but unfortunately the delivery was not pleasant. With COVID and everything that is happening in the world, the delivery men came into my house without any masks making me and my family extremely uncomfortable and wouldnât put on a mask until I told them they had too multiple times... the coffee table I received was dusty (making it seem like itâs been sitting in a warehouse for months), the glass top had a few scratches on it and a scuff on the side. The same day that I had received my coffee table, I reached out to the same person that told me to let them know how the delivery goes, and yet again with my disappointment, they have yet to respond to me weeks later. There is just a lack of care at this company, no support, and disrespect all around. I am happy I finally have my coffee table and that this horrible experience can finally be over.    Read moreUPDATE AT BOTTOM Nice furniture store with many beautiful pieces of furniture. The only thing is the financing companies they use. If you don't have great credit and have to use Acceptance Now, beware if you become forgetful about your deadline to pay things off, even by a month. They will refuse any offer you may give in exchange so the cost of your furniture doesn't double in price and force you to pay the amount they're asking. They threaten garnishing your wages and all kinds of craziness. Other than that, the people who work in the store have really nice attitudes and are pretty helpful as far as the typical staff is concerned. Unfortunately American Signature Furniture has poorly chosen their financial complies to do business with. Not sure how the other financial company is they work with, but if you can pay cash, pay off your furniture in the 4 months same as cash with acceptance now (Beyond a shadow of a doubt!!!), or if maybe if you get approved for the other financing company, this place is a nice place to buy furniture. Not necessarily cheap, but pretty quality I'd say. March 5, 2021 I will still keep the star rating the same despite minor inconveniences. Another thing with American Signature Furniture is the amount of time you have to wait for products....... HOWEVER, Trish was very workable with us! After our horrible experience with Acceptance Now as I previously explained, we pretty much buy everything cash instead of dealing with credit companies. Recently, we purchased the love seat for our Brittany set (In January, like somewhere in the middle of the month). They told us it would be delivered on February 24th initially. A week before delivery date we got a call that the couch was on back order until AUGUST due to COVID-19......???!!! That is like SEVEN MONTHSSSSSSSSSSSS from the original date?!?!?! (OH BY THE WAY WE BOUGHT IT CASH, NO PAYMENTS) Anyhow... I went to the store and spoke with a salesman and one of the managers about it and they basically sent me home with the "sorry we know it gets annoying hearing ""due to covid..."" but we can't do anything about it." So I left the store super irritated because I already have the sofa and it's paid off, and no other furniture store sells this set so I was pretty much stuck without any other option. Thankfully my husband wouldn't take that for an answer and told me to call back and cancel the order if they can't give us any compensation and we want our money back. Well thank God Trish was the manager on call instead o of the other one because she happily and so kindly refunded us 10% for the inconvenience. On the other hand, we also got a call this week that our love seat will be here tomorrow (March 6, 2021- way better than August lol). So don't despair if you're in a situation like us! American Signature Furniture is still a great store with beautiful furniture, for whatever reason the company just has some extreme waits on certain products and they don't work with the greatest credit companies. Since my daughter's Platinum Sarina bedroom set, we've also gotten the new Grammercy Bedroom Set (King) on clearance for $1100 out the door, The Brittany Living Room set, and another Brittany Love seat as a gift for my niece. Despite some loops and hurdles I will still shop here, as we plan on getting the Rose Gold Sarina bedroom set for my other daughter in...
