I had never heard of Gabes before happening across this store looking for scrubs on a Sunday afternoon, and boy oh boy. Let me just say, 'overwhelming'. Not necessarily in a bad way, there was just soooo much product to sort through, I did finally find what I was looking for (on the floor... there seems to be a regional shortage of black scrubs in a size small at most general merchandise retailers and I ended up sorting through things that had fallen off hangers under the racks.) There is literally so much stuff in this store, it's insane. It is largely ransacked, disorganized, they gave up putting clothing in sections and instead it is all just thrown on racks not organized by article of clothing, size, mens/womens/kids, nothing. Just all mixed in. Clearance racks were some clearance, some not, some things opened or ruined or half missing, the only thing organized for the most part were the shoes (by shoe size) and the home decor, blankets, pillows and such. Read moreMy first visit to the store, the cashier Donella was really nice. However, I didn’t notice till later after I got home from work and noticed I was double charged. I understand mistakes happen. So I looked for a number on the receipt. No there was not one there, so I googled the business to get a number. Called the number on their listing and it calls a Corperate number who is not available except 9-5. Why do you have a store that you can’t call to try and resolve the issue. I understand the store may need to refer me to corporate but this store does not give you that option. I never leave a negative review because generally the manager in the store can resolve the issue on the phone. But when you can not call the store during there business hours there is an issue. Read moreUsed to love to go to this store but lately not so much. It is very disorganized. Sizes are never where they are supposed to be for clothing. I stood 25 minutes in line yesterday with only 2 people ahead of me and one cashier. The cashier called over radio for assistance and was told other cashier was on break. By this time there were an additional 6 people waiting behind me. My shopping was done in 20 minutes but my entire check out time was almost 35 minutes! My cashier was in the middle of ringing up my order when he had to stop in order to assist another employee adding an additional 10 minutes to my wait. The service is ridiculously slow and there is a huge lack of staff. I realize very few people want to actually get a job now days but that's not the customer fault. If you can't run a business in a proper manner than don't open the doors. I seen no manager on the floor! Prices are great but not worth it as the horrible service far out...
