Capt. Brad and Luke were awesome, and really worked hard to get us into some great fishing spots. I requested to go out Amber Jack fishing, and they did not disappoint. Caught close to 10 Amber Jacks until I felt my arms were going fall off. We then went and fished for Grouper. Hooked into 15 Groupers, a couple that we kept for a nice dinner at Salt Cracker. On top of that, we caught a barracuda, one large King Fish, Red Snapper, Grunts, Poggies, one small Hog Fish, and an 8-foot shark to boot. Luke is one brave soul to lean over the boat and cut the line close to that shark’s mouth. The day started out with some excitement. Hooked what felt like a small Amber Jack, and about a minute into the fight, we think a Goliath must have come out and took and ran into the rocks. Couldn't get it out. But it was fun anyway. Capt. These guys are the BEST in the area!!! We first went out with Captain Brad in 2021, and he kept us busy the entire trip! He was great! Knowing we were returning to the area, there was only one option for charter- Bait House Charters! Formerly the deckhand on our trip 3 years ago, Luke was now our captain, and he fits the role perfectly! He and his deckhand Ben kept us on fish the entire time. Best part is that we all had so many laughs and an all around great time! They have a wonderful dynamic together and were very attentive to my husband and me. My husband caught his first ever Goliath grouper, and I caught 2 sharks!!! We never would have imagined catching multiple bucket list fish in the same trip. Honest Captain. Booked a charter with Bait House Charters, Cpt Brad called very shortly after booking online. He recommended that we NOT go out on our requested date and time as the weather and water were not the best of conditions. He didn't even try to take my money, he wanted to ensure that we had a good time and experience some good fishing. We didn't have much time to book this charter and took his advice and canceled out trip. I greatly appreciated his honesty and customer service. Booking on their website is easy with all information up front with no fluff to plow through to find booking times and prices. Will book with them next time I come to visit Clear Water Beach.
