The beach was legendary and so well-known to not only American people but foreigners. It is absolutely one of the best beaches in the U.S. The water is clear, of course, as indicated by its famous name. The sand was soft, smooth, and bright. I really like the atmosphere here, surrounding with many people from all over the country. But somehow it was a way too crowd, so that not an ideal place for relaxation.
The wave is not ideal for surfing, though, it was great for sea bathing and aquatic sports. The water was crystal clear and pure. There was nightly sunset celebration open all year round features artisans, crafters, street performers, along with many shops on the Pier. It was perfect watching sun set below the horizon with one another on the Pier.

There are many gorgeous gift shops where you can buy artefacts and jewelleries made from shells, pearls, sea glass, etc. Be prepared to navigate the crowd a bit as this place gets busy during the sunset time. Just relax, click some pictures, do some people watch, enjoy the abundant sunshine and call it a day with some great...

Too many times I have had issues with blaring inappropriate music, as well as frisbees and footballs hitting me while I am trying to relax.
During the non peak times, this beach is rather enjoyable with nice white sand and the warm gulf waters. There are plenty of places to eat in the area, and plenty of places to find both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages.
All in all I try to avoid coming here due to the crowds...
