If you are looking for a very nice small privately own motel to spend a very relaxing time then this is the place to go. This is not your typical 100 room fancy over priced resort but instead a really comfortable, clean and well maintained motel. They have a large pool with a really big deck with lots of seating. They also have a deck out back that overlooks the marina. Great for in the evenings. The rooms are very clean and well stocked with everything you need from kitchen ware, plates, silver ware and glasses. Nice sink and coffee maker. Bathroom is small but has all the essentials. Very clean. The staff was super nice, Cesaer checked us in and answered all my questions. This motel is located just a few minutes walk from the beach and Pier 60 and also lots of restaurants to go to. Parking is right in front of the rooms so you don't have far to go with your luggage, also you don't have to pay to park which is a plus. This is a very reasonably priced alternative to the expensive places nearby so if you want a nice place to stay without breaking the bank, this is the place to go. We will definitely stay there again...
Read moreI wanted to start off this review by thanking the staff working here. My girlfriend and I came to Clearwater for a small vacation as we are new to Florida. We spent the first few hours going from hotel to motel with our only results being off putting front desk employees and outrageous rates. However when entering barefoot bay resort the woman at the front desk greeted us and made us feel welcomed not only to the hotel but to the area as well by showing us great places to visit and dine. We had a delightful conversation and we were hooked before even asking for the pricing which proved to be great. She gave us an upgraded room at a discount. The entire expierence was amazing and could not imagine spending a night anywhere in Clearwater, even the multimillion dollar high rise resorts down the street. I would highly recommend as the rooms were extremely well kept and very reminiscent of home. Thanks again and look forward to seeing you soon! -Frank Arango and...
Read moreThis place is great for anyone not wanting to pay for beachfront. It's so centrally located we loved it. Beach and Pier 60 are across the street and a 2 min walk. Mandalay Ave is around the corner. Trolly stops outfront and Walgreens next door was great for stocking our little kitchenette with drinks and snacks. Plus it's a liquor store! The dock in the marina is was so peaceful and relaxing watching the boats in the harbor. The rooms are spacious and very clean. It's locally owned and the customer service is exceptional. I have no complaints at all. If you are looking for luxury this is not for you. It's quant and older and well maintained. I added some pictures of how close everything is. Understand this is not a luxury corporation that can cancel reservations or give back deposits. It's very clear there are no changes or refunds after booking the place. Dont complain if you didn't...
