The hotel is newly opened. I feel like they rushed and opened too soon. It's not disclosed but it's still under construction. They advertised having breakfast and a bar but that area isn't even built yet. I was surprised to hear the construction beginning at 7:30am on a Saturday morning. The first issue was parking. It's unclear but you have to park in the parking garage across the street which is also shared with other people for beach parking. We had to park on the 5th level and the elevator to the garage was not working, very difficult with your luggage. Also, there is a daily parking charge for this shared garage. The most difficult part about getting there was that they didn’t have a main number to call so that added to confusion of parking and where to unload. They have since changed this. They didn't even have a google listing until after our stay this weekend. The staff were very nice and the hotel was very clean. The room was very nice and spacious with a great view. The shower drain was full of hair and the ice bucket was full of water. But they did provide house keeping daily and it smelled great which other hotels don't seem to do anymore. 2 other annoyances were when you get on the floor out of the elevator it doesn't say which room numbers are which way so we walked the entire floor looking for our room. Also, they don't have phones in the rooms so the only way we could reach the front desk was to message them through expedia and wait hours for a response or walk to the lobby on the 2nd floor. I think this hotel could be really great once they work out these issues which are probably due to being so new. I may have felt differently about dealing with these issues if we knew it was a possibility...
Read moreWow! I could not believe the bang for the buck on this place, very new hotel that still had some remnants of construction down below. Whatever, inside the building was immaculate! Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, nice small table(s), personal keurig, fridge, dresser, super nice towels and a large walk in shower. It’s not “on” the beach, but literally a 2 minute walk to the beach. Definitely worth the stay folks, incredibly happy and will be back again when visiting Clearwater to forego the larger named hotels that are twice the amount. The lobby is also ridiculously cool!
The only negative in my opinion is the parking for the hotel is directly across the street in the public parking garage that you also have to pay $20 for in addition to the hotel stay and “resort” fees. So that you’re all aware. This should be included...

Just returned from a fantastic stay at Chart House Hotel—quietly one of the best-value spots around! This new property blends sleek modern design with a sparkling-clean vibe, and the views? Simply stunning.
But beyond aesthetics, what truly stood out was their attentive service. I accidentally left a personal item in my room drawer. Unlike past experiences where retrieving lost items felt like a chore, the staff here found it, reached out immediately, and had it waiting at the front desk when I returned later in the week. That level of care speaks volumes.
Overall, Chart House Hotel offered great pricing, spotless rooms, gorgeous views, and a team genuinely focused on guest satisfaction. I’ll be back—and I highly recommend it for anyone...
