I'm docking a couple stars because the experience is misleading. The Captain and First Mate are terrific. You spend about an hour on the water total. About half of that time is spent making your way around the bay while the captain indicates which homes are owned by celebrities and notable people all while looking for dolphins. You make your way out to the Gulf of Mexico and turn around about 100 yards later. It's not a bad tour around the bay. However, we felt we were mislead. The entire trip we were thinking at certain points the boat maybe had a vacuum sucking up shells and teeth and that was the big selling point. So we roll back into the dock and ask when the shark teeth and shells experience is taking place and we're told we can buy bags of sand for $5 each but it was really for the kids. The shark teeth was definitely a big selling point when we booked the trip and I'm not quite sure we would have spent $28/person had we known it was just a bag of sand (and likely a salted bag of sand similar to what you get up north in outfits that claim a gem mining experience). Nonetheless, it...
Read moreTHIS IS A MUST DO!! I do a lot of adventure things all the time. This one rates high up there. It was pretty windy this day so I am not sure how it affects the ride. It was fast, wet and wild. Everyone towards the rear of boat got soaking wet as we went speeding across the gulf. The boat was full so I dare to think how much faster it would go with less weight. Everyone that wanted to could drive the boat for about a minute or two. We saw dolphins a few times. I love that they crank the rock music as you are cruising at full speed. I would probally not recommend this for lap children and younger. They were not enjoying it so much. Forget all the other boats at the pier unless you want a tame experience. This is...
Read moreAs a group of 20-69 year Olds we had fun. It was a unique experience and so glad we went. We got to see dolphins. The captain and deckhand were very knowledgeable. I got 2 shark teeth, pink seashells, pink sea glass and a conch shell. Everyone in our group was lucky enough to get shark teeth. But my niece made out with 8 shark teeth. Definitely something fun and different to do highly recommend this adventure. The only downfall is it is misleading is the website says it takes you to the favorite shelling spots. So your to believe they suck the sand off the bottom when in reality you have a bucket of sand that is already on board when you get on. I asked where the sand came from and they told me they bought it...
