I’m giving this 2 stars because the gentlemen that took payment and arranged it were nice enough, helpful and accommodating. However I cannot say the same for the captains of the boat ‘Shark bait’ which actually took us parasailing. We got into the boat which had a short ladder on the bow, we could get in there just fine but we had beach bags and no one even so much as mumbled a word of assistance. Including the man that was simply standing outside the boat watching us get in......but I’m sure due to his lack of actions he must’ve had the egregious task of acting as the anchor of the boat. Moving on, we begin moving out to sea. The skipper then takes it upon himself to ask which of us is going twice - previous to our departure we were told we would go in pairs and because there were 3 of us one person would go twice - I then raised my hand. short pause he then continues on “Well, I would rather the lightest of you guys go twice” (full disclosure- we are not tiny women, we range from #200-250lbs HOWEVER, there was only a weight MINIMUM of #150lbs given on the parasailing disclaimer) I again raise my hand. You can see that he obviously has a concerned grimace on his face, but says nothing else. silence the whole ride no music or anything *They then make very small talk with another couple on the boat - lean couple- and suit them up for take off together. He then states - “How much are the two of you together?” We tell him “Yeah, I think I’m just going to have to take each of you up one at a time, there just not a lot of wind today.” So here lies the problem, you saw us......Assessed us at the time, and could’ve made a quiet decision to have us go up individually without the extra banter to absolutely let us know that we were heavier than you expected and our weight was cause for concern. We are not at all delusional about our size. You could’ve simply made the statement “ I will send you guys up one at at time today” and been done with it and we would have been none the wiser. He could’ve been much more tactful. However, they did do a good job at their actual job of getting us up in the air, harnessing us in and removing us from suspension safely. Side note: the life jackets they placed on all 3 of us- WERE MUSTY - Like pure sweat from someone eating onions, with no deodorant MUSTY. Stay Away! I am so disappointed that I did NOT read these reviews previously. My husband and I rented 2 jet ski’s yesterday and when we returned them they insulted and embarrassed us by saying we must have hit each other. I am beside myself and see there are multiple reviews saying this is common with them. Unfortunately they would not believe me when I said we didn’t hit each, we weren’t even riding near each other and they then said “well I hit something then”... there was already damage on that jet ski that had putty on it. A huge expense for a completely false allegation. They had the audacity to charge me $600! It ruined our whole trip to Tampa and is a complete rip off. We were told it’s like a car rental, damages need to be paid for but the issue is that the damage was already there, I didn’t hit anyone or anything and was not given the chance to review previous damage before going out. I have pics that I wish I could post but I guess you can’t do that here.

I’m sure the owner will comment why would he want to scam people or charge them but seriously what else would anyone expect when this is clearly something they do often. Blah blah blah...save it how do you sleep at night taking advantage...

The prices were very reasonable. I did a bit of research before choosing this place. (I liked that they had so many different activities offered in one place) Me and my boyfriend did jet skiing and the parasailing. It was a lot of fun. Everyone there was very friendly. We went on memorial weekend so we were afraid it would be super busy. But while there were quite a few people there the employees were very accommodating. Everything was very efficient I couldn't believe it. The guy at the tiki hut(I wish I remembered his name) was multitasking. He helped me and boyfriend before we took the boaters license test, checked our paperwork, processed our payments, all while assisting another large group. I was very impressed. We'd actually gotten a bit lost getting to the location and he answered the phone and gave us such helpful and clear instructions it was a breeze to get there. Everyone kept asking us how we were doing and if we were having fun. It felt nice as though they really cared. I hate to feel like a bother to anyone and their customer service made me feel comfortable. I totally recommend this company! Keep up the good...
