Ice&Cream Creamery — Restaurant in Clearwater

Every year the hubby and I take the family down to Clearwater for spring break; And every year without fail we walk by all the other ice cream shops just to come to this one. I mean, 36 flavors?!! We love the ice cream, the kids working always provide great service, and although the line gets real long, it always seems to move fast. Plus, the shop is locally owned!

Now, the reason for my two star review. Out of all the years of coming here, all the different people working their butts off behind the counter, the older lady thats “managing” this shop ruined our night. She is very obviously not comfortable being busy as you can tell she is stressed out trying to take orders. My 13 year old has special needs, and recently she’s been working on ordering by herself and this lady snapped at her!!! We have never been treated so poorly before at this shop! I mean, cut my little girl off mid sentence (which ended up causing her order to be wrong), walked away while muttering under her breath, and wouldn’t even ring us up. We had to wait a couple minutes for the other girl to finish making someone else’s milkshake to even pay for our ice cream!! Every one has bad days, I understand, but being treated so poorly makes us not want to ever come back. And we LOVED...

July 2023 The service is still great. The place expanded and is a big bigger. The staff behind the counters seem to enjoy working here! 😊 Still 5 stars for us... Everyone we have introduced to this peace loves. This is our go to ice cream 🍦spot! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

July 2022 🍨3 of us went and purchased 3 different flavors on a Friday night at 10:30pm. The staff was awesome and friendly. The price point was less then the ones around it.. Given it is on a tourist strip. The butter pecan was so good and the salty pecans were eveything. We also have the coconut 🥥 fudge, almond and the red velvet were super yummy. After a quick poll, we all decided 5 stars for this place. We will be back. My boyfriend's favorite dessert is ice cream... Him giving this place 5 stars🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨 means a whole lot. Give it a go... You will not be disappointed! Can't wait to go back!...

Ice cream is great. Service is terrible. Two young girls working this past week on the closing shift have been nothing but miserable. My family and I have been showing up nightly during our trip for some ice cream and not once were the girls friendly. Walked in today and witnessed one whispering to the other complaining that we were walking in, 40 minutes before closing. The girls have made us feel nothing but uncomfortable during our trips out for ice cream. Definitely would recommend going earlier to get some ice cream, but I’m not sure the front workers ever have a time where they’re not miserable. As a food service employee, it is not hard to make people feel catered to, or appreciated, seems to me that the two girls in there do not...
