Just spend the xtra money and go to a nicer place. Not family friendly like they promote. When we first got there my 6 month old had a blow out and some got on the Comforter, I immediately called the front desk And ask for them to come change the sheets, And told them what happened. Instead of room service coming to change the comforter out, We are handed another comforter at the doorway and told to do it Ourselves. Which is fine whatever, but when we Took off the other Blanket and give it to the guy he told us to leave it by the door and someone will come get it. I explained to him again that there was baby poop on it, and he insisted that it was fine and to just leave it there by the door in our room, so we did. And NO ONE ever came to get it! The next day I tried to do laundry, since we had our bathing suits that I needed to wash anyways, jokes on me they only had 1 washer and 1 dryer in the whole building which was constantly being used by other people. When I asked where I could wash clothes and wash the blanket that my kid got poop on since I was sick of it just sitting by the door and no one coming to get it, I was told that I could go to the hotel across the street and see if theirs was open to use. Rooms looked okay, but for our room when you used the shower, the shower curtains that they use are so thin and the curtain pole wasnt level so the Curtain wouldn’t stay in place so the bathroom would be completely covered in water when anyone would shower. Even after allll that I wasn’t planning on Leaving a review, it wasn’t until I looked at my bank and had a 50$ charge from them and when I called and asked why I was charged the deposit, I was told when I handed my keys back that would be refunded to me. I was met with a snarky remark saying that they couldn’t get a stain out of a blanket. I explained that yeah I bet because it was sitting there for days and no one would get it even after requesting house keeping to take it numerous times. And I’ve made it known to the front desk about it and all and no one cared until they wanted to charge me for “extra cleaning” of a blanket that their house keeping refused to even take till days later letting the “stain” set and then want to charge me for. I filed a dispute with my bank and will fight it, and will NEVER give this place my money again! Also make sure you get a receipt because I was never provided any receipts for this place also! Not for the deposit, not for the stay, not for the Supposed to refund that they were supposed to give me, And definitely not for the charge for the stain on the comforter that they refused to pick up and let sit...

These people are straight scammers. Im a reasonable guy and a social guy at that I love to spread the word of places that treat us right. Me and my family drove all across the states to move here and needed a hotel for the night. we were exhausted and a little irritable due to being in a car for so long. We booked online here due to its affordability and close to the water (granted we accidentally overlooked they didn't allow pets). Though we hadn't paid anything yet. An hr later upon arrival and trying to check in I was greeted by a young kid on his phone that was not very helpful in answering my questions when I was asking whether or not I could park a small trailer on property instead of helping me with alternatives for parking he was telling me each vehicle including the trailer were going to be an additional 20$ each and then as he was literally... swiping my card I found out they have a no pet policy which can't work for us due to traveling with a dog. So I told him wait we can't stay here then. He just stared at me and when I confirmed he charged my card I explained I would like that money back then please. He stated the manager Mary would have the discretion to decide whether or not I get refunded. Conveniently she was not on property and unavailable to talk and when I called the online site we made the reservation through they said since we did not pay online we would have to go through the hotel for refunding and of course they did not answer the calls from the online representative I was on the phone with so I agreed to wait until the following morning to call Mary and explain to her the situation. She claimed she can't give me a refund because cause I was outside the refund window.... Literally because this kid swiped my card before I learned they don't accept pets I can't get my money back... That's BS. I'm partly writing this cause Im pissed but I do believe the situation was handled incorrectly. She said if I refunded you I would be paying out of pocket.... No you would be reversing the transaction that just happened and be giving me my money back. First glance the property was not as glamorous as the photos show much nicer properties surrounding it. Location is a good spot in the middle of everything though it's pressed up to a corner of a busy intersection. Maybe the rooms were nice I don't know we didn't get that far...

I hate giving bad reviews but gotta. I didn't take pics but should've. 1st ALL the staff were GREAT! Elevator is death trap, it sunk about 2-4 inches when boarding & is SO LOUD it kept us up at night. Brick walkways make all roller suitcases into a trains click clack click clack all night long people coming in. Morning its the cleaning crews and their carts. So dam loud!

Rooms terrible Motel 6 style beds noisy on some kind of springs that squeaks when enter the bed & move around. Pillows we way too soft or way too big. Had 4 of them, if can bring own. The electrical outlets between the beds are so loose our chargers kept falling out & hard to charge. The closet was in the bathroom! The steam would get all into our clothes wth? No fan in bathroom, possible vented as I had seen a hole in wall for central vacuum type but could not feel airflow. Toilet very slow to flush & multiple times had to flush for #2, like 4-6 times to get stuff to go down toilet. Show curtain failed to keep water in & floor would be soaked which caused issues with wall that bottom had been POORLY repaired.

I think thats all the negative.

Good stuff the mini frig worked and the mini micro wave too.

You get what u pay for. We needed a place to say nothing stolen, nobody went into room. If just a day or two its ok. The location is great! People were nice and helped out when could. Definitely not the Hilton & son said his stay at the Sheraton was not great either so theres that. Will I stay in future, most likely not, will I be back in Clearwater, no so its...

I used to enjoy staying at this hotel, but after my most recent visit, I will not be returning. We arrived late after a long flight and were shocked to find a roach in our room around 1 a.m. When I reported it, the staff insisted it was a “Palmetto bug” until I showed them the picture, it was absolutely a roach! They moved us to another room, which was somehow even worse stains all over the bed, dirty surfaces, and a door that didn’t lock properly. When I brought this up to the front desk, we were told to speak with the manager in the morning for a possible room upgrade. The manager on duty had us check other rooms on the same side of the building, but they were all in awful condition. We were told we could either downgrade to a 1-bed room on or get a refund. I mentioned to the manager if we could be moved across the street to their other building, and she reluctantly said she’d check because it was $100 more per night, as if the roach and dirty rooms were our fault. What’s worse? We never received a single apology for the roach or the poor condition of the rooms. I later called to request a late check-out and was immediately told “no” after giving my room number. Clearly flagged in their system due to the issues we had. The hotel was nearly empty, so it made no sense to be so dismissive. This place used to be clean, welcoming, and well-run. Not anymore. Save yourself the stress and stay somewhere else.

The price makes the beach vacation affordable. More of a motel style place, makes up for that with kind staff and a nice pool. It is right in the heart of Clearwater, just a block from public beach access and convenient to shopping and fun (Pier 60). It's in the busy part of town, lots of foot traffic and cars and sirens and activity in and out of the hotel. The beds weren't the most comfortable and the pillows were very small. But everything was clean and tidy. The cleaning staff did a great job getting the sand off our floors everyday, which I know must be a task! We did have an incident where a staff member was knocking loudly on our door at 4:30am without calling our room first, which was very startling and scary, considering the door was on the first floor and anyone can walk up and be knocking. They did call us after banging loudly, and asked if we drove a certain car that was not parked properly (it was not our vehicle). There was a quick apology, and we talked to the staff in the morning about it for which they apologized as well. This place is great for a small budget, but it may be worth spending a little more and getting bit of a safer place if you are traveling alone. Overall, for the price, it is worth considering if you want to get close to the beach.

Checked into this hotel and they put us in a room across the street from the main building. It was an older two level building, not the four level pictured online. Then my room key wouldn’t work. I went to the desk five times for the staff to “fix” my key so we could access our room. The second time of the key not working, housekeeping let us in. Big Mistake!!! Our belongings got locked in the room. The front desk staff tried to unlock door with cards and key and it wouldn’t work. Then they had maintenance come and try to get into our room. He had to go through the joining room and cut through two doors to finally open our door. They moved our room and wouldn’t credit our bill. Mind you we were locked out for about 5 hours. The hotel is down the strip away from all the activities! Beach access is across the street. The pool on our side of the street was freezing cold. We never went to the other pool to see if it was heated. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable . You can definitely tell this is not one of the nicer hotels hence the low price. There was an ice cream shop right beside us, which was nice. We have stayed in much nicer hotels in this area. We will not be back to this hotel.
