Very disappointed in our fishing charter! There were 5 of us and only 2 seats on the boat. The captain was nice but the skipper was quiet never introduced himself never told us there was a bathroom or even let us know where the garbage was to throw away our trash. He didn’t really speak to us much or tell us about the fish that we caught we reeled them in and that was it we didn’t even get to see the fish. We came back in an hour early because we were just not very happy with our experience. Once we got back into the dock we had to ask them what they do with the fish they didn’t offer information until we first asked about it they didn’t offer to take pictures with the fish we caught! Honestly feeling a little robbed of the 636$ plus tip we paid. It was a huge disappointment. Mike was the captains name and I had to ask the skipper his name and he replied with skip. I called about a dozen charters, wondering if they had time to take our boys fishing later the very same day. Of course most didn't even return my call. Salt Cracker Charters not only called me back, but they bent over backwards to accommodate our schedule for the four hour trip. I had to shift the time several times that morning ( due to a dog emergency vet visit) and they didn't even bat an eye. The office person (a woman) was awesome! Captain Nick was FANTASTIC, as was the deck hand (I can't remember his name right now because I'm so tired from fishing, but it begins with a T). One of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. The captain and helper were so good that they were able to help me, a complete fishing idiot, to have fun and catch fish. We did the 4 hour trip. My sister mentioned that they wanted to try for hogfish. The captain went out of their way to take us out further than normal just for the chance. On top of that they even helped us catch extra fish.
