Roundabout Pizza — Restaurant in Clearwater

We found this place as we were leaving Marina Cantina and stopped in to grab a menu as we were going to be in town for a couple of days and it smelled wonderful. While we were inside, my kiddo asked for a white pizza and although it's not on the menu, the two guys in the shop made it happen. While we were waiting on the white pizza, one of the guys was talking about a Nutella pizza that they're known for locally, and my youngest was on-board. Needless to say, we left with both.

The White pizza looked more like garlic bread, but my kids swear it was better than what we have back home. The Nutella pizza was a little more hit or miss, the adults loved the creativity but could have done without the cookie on top, the oldest was against it, and the youngest loved it. We came in at 12:30pm on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon, expecting a crazy wait and long wait. We were greeted immediately and placed our order within seconds. To our surprise, less than 10 minutes later our two pizzas and garlic bites were at our table.

I’m not sure if it was a manager or just a friendly employee, but he came out, brought us plates, and made us feel so welcome here. We had a party of six and sat outside and he was so accommodating.

It is really hard for me to write a bad review on someone’s restaurant because I was in the service industry for a long time. However, this was a terrible experience. When I got there to pick up my carry out the cashier was very smug and rude. They refused to give me any ranch or pizza sauce bc they said they didn’t have any. I said you serve salads? He said sorry don’t have it. When I left confused why he was so rude I look in the window and him and his coworkers were looking out the window laughing at me as if I did something wrong. As for the pizza it is mediocre. Really dry and very little flavor.
