Update: Came back another week later. Alterations are mess still. Going somewhere else to get it fixed. It's sloppy work.

Everything was good until they did the alterations. Don't let them do the alterations. They were arguing with me and said that my daughter gained an excessive amount of weight in a week and said that's why her dress wouldn't fit on the second alteration appointment. However; she would have had to gain 30 lbs to make it not fit because it wouldn't even come close to clasping. It was a solid 10 inches separate from where it snaps. We've tried this dress on three times prior to the final fitting. Once just last week. It was soooo ridiculous that they'd even insinuate that. The dress remained in their custody the entire time for alterations.We had to try on another dress of the same size on to prove to them she didn't go up multiple sizes in one week. Mind you, my daughter is 12. The lady is nice that sells the dresses and the prices are great, but seriously. Go elsewhere for alterations. It's shotty work at best and to insult my 12 year old is just obscene and to get mad at me for telling them they messed it up, that it was our fault somehow. I was really nice about it initially when I realized it wouldn't be able to close and then it quickly turned into insults from them, that we somehow made this happen. In the end, it was the straps they adjusted to high up that pulled the dress up to far and made it not fit. They're fixing this, but I don't know I'd buy another dress here. If I do, I won't alter it there.

Our experience at this store was nothing short of appalling, primarily due to the exceptionally poor customer service. Despite the allure of some of their dresses, I would unequivocally recommend shopping elsewhere. We visited the store on Thursday, July 11th. Upon entering, we were not greeted, which I don't mind. Still, the staff member's deliberate effort to avoid acknowledging us was evident. We browsed the dresses and were particularly captivated by one stunning piece. While I was examining the back of the dress, the employee brusquely snapped at my daughter not to step on it, despite her not being close to doing so, and then resumed ignoring us. My family encouraged me to try on the dress, but I felt so unwelcome that I hesitated, feeling as though I would be bothering the employee. When I inquired about the dress, she snapped at me that it would not fit as it was a junior size, despite my familiarity with and suitability for such sizes. I understand the variability in designer sizing, but her dismissive attitude was unwarranted. After she snapped at us again, I explicitly asked to try on the dress. Her response was equally curt and unpleasant, offering to zip it up with an air of irritation with an eyeroll. When she finally retrieved the dress and I tried it on, she immediately declared she couldn't zip it and continued her dismissive behavior. Despite the dress being beautiful and my family assisting in giving me a proper view of it, the negative treatment left me feeling so uncomfortable and ugly that I decided not to...

If I could give a zero star I would. I find it interesting that the only good reviews mention Gabby. I wonder if Gabby’s friends and family are writing reviews and not having the unfriendly, unprofessional service that many others have had. My daughter and I went to see the beautiful dresses. The lady behind the register preferred not to engage with her potential customers. We were the only ones in the store. We had our eye on one particular dress and felt very uncomfortable about asking to try it on, but hey we were there to shop. When my daughter asked to try it on she rolled her eyes, the only time she attempted to make eye contact, and quickly told my daughter she would be the one zipping it up as these dresses are junior size dresses. As she stood outside of the dressing room door looking annoyed my daughter slipped out. She instantly told my daughter she needed a different size and refused to zip it up. My daughter is a size 2 petite and left the store humiliated. This women, that I believe is the owner, isn’t in the market of selling dresses. She is in the market of body shaming perfectly sized young women. It’s a shame she is representing the Avanti line. We will never buy our annual gala dresses from this store nor from this line due to...
