honestly, just very disappointed with the service all around. we were seeking a mobile groomer to give our elderly 14 year old samoyed a bath since she can’t ride comfortably in the car and our very anxious australian shepherd a bath. after making our appointment, we got a text the next morning notifying us that the price for our service had increased due to the breed of our dogs and asked “do you wish to proceed?”. not even 10 minutes later they automatically confirmed our appointment without our confirmation of the up-charge. it was $140 per dog for just a bath and no hair cut included. we stated in the appointment notes, again, that we do not want our dogs coats cut, only paws and sanitation area trimmed up. upon arrival, our groomers didn’t confirm any of our appointment notes and took the dogs in the van with little communication about what the dogs would get done. i tried to get confirmation from the groomer that my dogs weren’t getting trimmed but i didn’t get any answer. i tried texting and calling, no answer. when my australian shepherd was done getting groomed he was trimmed extremely short ALL around his body and had severe skin irritation near his genitalia. i told them that his coat was not supposed to be cut and our groomer said they would look at the appointment notes and went to do more work on our samoyed. since our samoyed has severe arthritis in her back legs, we told them to do what our dog is comfortable with and to not stress if her back legs are less than perfect in order to keep her comfortable. when our samoyed came out of the van, her entire head wasn’t brushed out, she was still visibly wet, and she had a hard time standing which made us think that our groomers were not being gentle with our arthritic dog. our groomer admitted that they did not read the appointment notes and told us that they would give us a 20% discount for the inappropriate trim on my australian shepherd and followed by asking if i wanted to leave a tip. i had very high hopes for this company as it would’ve been convenient for our arthritic samoyed, easy for my anxious australian shepherd, and we would’ve used them for my cat too. but they disappointed me in more areas than one. i wouldn’t recommend furry land to anyone that has double coat dogs or dogs with specific health conditions. i hope furry land learns from this experience with my babies and does better with the next clients that...

They are SO absolutely wonderful! After traveling for the holidays and for work, I came home only to find that my cat sitter had not been brushing my kitties as diligently as I would have hoped. As a result, my little girl developed 2 super tight knots close to her skin, that I’m sure had to have been extremely uncomfortable for her. Despite having a very tight schedule, they went out of their way to make time to stop by and get her knots out (scheduling the rest of her service later). Oh my gosh, I could not be more appreciative!! As a pet owner, the last thing you want is for your babies to be in pain.

The woman who stopped by (I believe she does all of their cat grooming) was SO kind and SO friendly:. She was really great with both of my kitties, and they seemed very calm with her. She did a great job getting my girl’s knots out, it really was not even noticeable where she had to shave them off. I was really impressed!! I’ve always had fluffy cats who need frequent grooming, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicately she was able to get them out. Also, it’s CLEAR that she loves animals. For me personally, that’s so so so huge! She took time to chat with me and didn’t make it feel rushed, even though I know they squeezed me in.

10:10 would recommend! I will do all my grooming with these folks! As an aside, my car was stolen so the fact that they come to you is particularly convenient, however, I think that’s probably the most comfortable experience for the animals. I wasn’t sure if they’d need space in my home, which would have been fine but they bring their own van! Just fyi!

Denise is AMAZING! Accommodating, punctual, sweet, and professional. We have two doodles. One who is high energy and another who is a cling master ball of anxiety. They’re both socially anxious. Denise is so patient with them. Her passion is obvious. Taking them to large pet stores for grooming or trying to get an appointment at a brick and mortar spot to fit our schedules were nightmares. Having Furry Land come to the home on the weekend is super convenient!! The van is VERY clean. The attention to detail in their haircuts and cleanliness is evident and unparalleled to results we received elsewhere. Its a little pricey but worth every penny for a 1:1 luxury experience in my opinion. I never worry about them being locked in a cage while the groomer works on other dogs or rushes to cut off tail hair instead of brushing it because they’re overbooked or incompetent. We are now recurring customers since Oct. 2023. We get EXACTLY what we want every time (ie personalized cut, glands, nail grind, clean pads, teeth brushing, hypoallergenic shampoo). Big guy is only allowed on the couch after a visit with Denise because we know he’s clean from head to paw. I book their next appointments promptly every 6 weeks because I know we will get consistently quality and individualized attention for our babies- which is what they deserve.
