I loved going to Chuck E Cheese as a kid (who didn't?!) and couldn't wait to take my own children to visit. I have a 4-year-old and a three-year-old and they absolutely LOVE this chain. All of the restaurants went through a redesign over the last few years, however, completely doing away with things like the animatronic characters/band (replaced by a weirdly small dance floor that's just a screen on the floor) and by nixing the playplace/tunnels/slides/ball pits and replacing them with nothing. Those were always, in my opinion, the best parts of Chuck E Cheese as a kid, though my children seem to be crazy about the 'dance floor' (though I assume this is because they simply do not know any better and don't know what they're missing with the now-defunct animatronics). Most of the games were a little too old/difficult for my toddlers when I first started taking them to play here, but there's some game options that older toddlers can enjoy, as well as a few (like 3 or 4) rides for younger toddlers through younger elementary school ages (think carousel horses and like, 3 of the little car rides that kinda just tilt up and down). Chuck doesn't make a lot of appearances - we've been to both locations in town and, despite playing for over an hour, usually don't see Chuck at all. When he does come out to interact with the kids (unless it's for a birthday party), he comes out to the 'dance floor' for a dance before going back into the back area again, where he won't be seen again before we leave. That's if he comes out at all, which usually he does not. On a positive note, Chuck E Cheese no longer makes their pizzas out of cardboard and rubber cheese, so that was a pleasant surprise. Take this review as you will - like I said, neither of my kids have ever been disappointed going here, quite the opposite - but as a parent who remembers the animatronic band and playplace, it's somewhat disappointing, especially considering the astronomical prices they charge. But we keep going back because my kids go nuts for it and at the end of the day, that's all that matters.

First, I want to say Allen and Veonte gave us awesome customer service during our visit. We went on a Wednesday around 5 PM, the place was empty but started to fill up around 30 minutes later. We placed our order for pizza and two 60 minute game cards. Pizza came out pretty fast and was good. All the games we tried worked and I noticed the games give out a lot of tickets, more than most other places I visited. The only thing I was disappointed about was about the game card situation. On the soda machine, its advertised that on Wednesdays 1 hour of play is 14.99 plus tax. We payed $21 for each one hour card. I asked the girl up front about this and she said I have to ask for the 14.99 game card, which I think is a bit ridiculous. She told me her boss said no refunds for not asking about the discount but I dont understand why you have to ask if its advertised in store and there is no actual coupon online. Even though I overpaid for the game cards my kids still had a great time. We will still return to this location but next time come prepared with plenty of coupon deal knowledge. Overall, fun place to take the kids during the week between 3 and 5 PM for an early dinner and empty place!

The pizza was good, and all 5 of the kids (age 2-7 1/2) had fun. The only issue we had was that ALL of the big tables were “reserved” for parties the entire time we were there...3 1/2 hours. In the time we were there, there were only 2 parties, and both of them only had about 6 people. We were a group of 13—5 adults, 5 kids, and 3 babies. We ended up sitting in 3 different booths. I understand wanting to make sure you have the tables for parties, but for over 3 1/2 hours? That’s ridiculous. If you want j those to only be for parties, you need to have more options for larger groups.

Took our grandson to chuck e cheese today, visiting from out of town. Front counter person(male) taking our order was very helpful. We were not sure how the game cards worked as back in our day everything was done with tokens. He helped us decide to get the one hour card. After purchasing our food and card we found our booth. I had to go to the car and retrieve something and upon returning I saw a sign on the door about a deal for the 60 minute card purchase with a 30 min of free game play. This wasn't offered at the time of purchase when I bought the card. So I went and inquired about this promotion and the worker (female) told me, you have to ask about the deal when you buy the card. I said so I can only get the deal when you buy the card? Again she said, "You have to ask for it!" So basically she refused. Later she told my wife when she inquired where does it state you have to ask for it in order to get the deal? She said, it doesn't but you have to ask. She told my wife that Because I didn't say I wanted it, she didn't give it to me. She then said she would give us the deal and My wife asked really your going to give it to me? And she said yes if you want it, and my wife said yes I want it. And she asked the female worker, why didn't you offer my husband when he asked about it? And the female worker said, because he didn't ask for it! My wife was shocked. She then said, really? Your saying because he didn't physically say I want it, you didn't give it to him? Female worker again said, He didn't ask for it! My wife then said, but That's just customer service! Are you serious? That is so petty! The worker then said, I was going to be nice and give you the 30 minutes but now I'm not. So you can just forget it. And you can leave and call corporate and complain. My wife was completely shocked to her words. Worker kept telling my wife that she didn't deserve to be spoken to this way! What way is she talking about? Common sense? So even though I inquired about the promotion that was not enough to offer me the deal. I SPECIFICALLY had to say, "I WANT THE DEAL!" Really?!? Apparently she said she was the manager and there was no one above her to speak with. She told us we could leave. And to go ahead and call corporate and complain. Unbelievable! What happened to customer service? The most rudest, unhelpful worker, it was ridiculous! She refused to give her name. But my wife took a pic of her. Her face expresses a thousand words of what bad customer service looks like. We are being very courteous and not...

This is the ONLY Chuck E. Cheese location that I have ever brought my kids too, & it’s been a while since we’ve visited ... and I must say that this place has went to complete H*! Though at first there seemed to be a shortage of employees, as we sat there more and more employees seemed to surface ... meanwhile the video games were out of tickets, the pizzas were taking 1 hour+ to come out and then they were cold. There were people (including myself) walking back to the counter with our numbers just to get our pizza! The “unlimited” salad bar was empty ... the drink station was empty, there was a bus bin sitting there the entire time, all of the tables were dirty, there was food under the empty tables, it was absolutely disastrous! Then, my friends daughter went to tell an employee that she wasn’t getting her tickets, & the employee named Ciara (sp) who was supposedly a manager told her that “without a receipt it doesn’t matter,” which sent this 7 year old girl back in tears. When her mother & I went to the counter the same employee was EXTREMELY rude and when we asked for a manager, exclaimed that she was the “f**” manager ... along with some other explicits. There was one helpful employee ... Reanna. She was extremely professional & helpful ... she tried to do everything she could ... but she can’t run a restaurant by herself. She advised that they’d be “working” on Ciara’s hospitality because she struggles with that. Wrong career choice maybe? We spent well over $200 in the establishment and it was the biggest waste of money ever. Usually $200 at CEC means a good time. Not at this location. I also forgot to mention that they played the announcement over the speaker about 4 times promising that Chuck E. would be coming out soon and not one time in two hours did he appear for...
