I’m editing my initial review, due to my second expense here. Leaving my original review at the bottom of this thread. I brought my out-of-town friend here since my first visit was so great. BUT, this second time had some hiccups. First, the positive: Tristan was very accommodating when I called to say we were running behind. Our server (can’t recall her name, but she’s the young, blonde lady) was great both times I had her. She was knowledgeable about the wine and made some great recommendations. The food is always delicious and perfectly cooked. My favorite is the Tri-tip risotto and the scallops. Well-balanced on flavor, rich, and good-sized portions for the entrees. Now, the needed improvements: whoever the dark-haired female hostess is needs an attitude adjustment. Upon arriving, my friends and I said hello, and she was stone-faced the entire time, very cold and unwelcoming. She then tried to sit us at a table that was crammed into a corner, and tried to take chairs from a neighboring table that was already sat with patrons. They were expecting more guests and told her to not take the chair. Frustrated, she just turned around and put us at a table that wasn’t ideal for our party. We agreed to sit there anyway, even though there was plenty of other open seating. Second, the charcuterie board my friend custom-ordered was dismal with the servings of cheeses and meats. There was plenty of bread and crackers, but only three pieces of prosciutto and 9 pieces of salami. There were four of us eating, and it didn’t go far at all. We did still order salad and entrees, but for the amount of money we spent, it didn’t justify what we received in apps. Overall, I still like this place, mainly because of the atmosphere and the adorable food server we had. Will try again. ************************************ I came to this restaurant with a friend of mine on a Wednesday. It was very slow, which was great for us, because the service was outstanding! We decided to order the grilled artichoke appetizer, and also the baked Brie with fig. We requested gluten free bread, to which they accommodated nicely. The lemon butter, on the artichoke appetizer was rich and tangy, and the artichoke was perfectly cooked. The brie and fig with bread was absolutely delicious! They both were so good, I forgot to take pics of them, oops! We ordered the Obsidian Cabernet Sauvignon, and it paired well with everything. For dinner I ordered the Tagliatelle Frutti Di Mare. It had generous servings of scallops, shrimp, squid, in a light sauce with perfectly cooked house-made pasta. My friend orders the short rib risotto, which was divine! Rich flavors and extra tender meat made this dish an absolute favorite. Finally, the pumpkin spice cheesecake for dessert was a terrific final touch. It was light, fluffy, and gluten free. The atmosphere is a laid-back, modern, lounge-y type place with perfectly set music. We will definitely be coming back for more!

Our server, Rae, was great! She even made my maple sour, and it was really smooth. I recommend the pick 3, it was the perfect size for the two of us. They even gave us a free cheesecake when the entree we split was cold. The issue though was with the entree itself. We were getting full so we decided to split the PBJ Yak steak. The steak was like 2oz and I would say it was chopped because the pieces weren’t uniform, so I couldn’t tell if it was from one piece of meat. The potatoes were a little bland, and the arugula “salad” was just a massive bed of arugula, possibly cilantro, and some kinda vinaigrette- it was kind of hard to eat so it felt more like decore. And in the photo, it looks really greasy. Everything else was great! Unfortunately entrees are important. I’ll probably come back for a drink, but I wish there was more disclosure about the steak on the menu because we definitely thought we were getting something different, and it was 33$!

Great girls night out at Vine and Wheel! We couldn't decide what we wanted so we came here looking for a little of everything. Perfect choice. Super chill vibes and cozy/comfy seating while still being classy. Wine flights were on point, with a good bit of help from Trystan, who found out what we liked, didn't like, and wanted to try new. All 6 of his suggestions landed, and we ended up ordering more of my "least" favorite out of the flight once it was paired with food. The charcuterie boards are a great deal, and you get to pick your own meats and cheeses, again with plenty of extra details and suggestions from the staff as needed. Plus the boards come out with a ton of extra stuff that rivals far more expensive boards in town. We will definitely be back to try more things and hit the patio once the weather is better!

The atmosphere was wonderful, and our waitress was a gem, but the overall service and inconvenience of the menu was lacking. The menu lists meats, cheeses, and wines to build a wine and charcuterie experience for dinner, but there’s no description whatsoever of what each option is. Cheeses aren’t even listed as hard or soft. If you don’t know exactly what you want already you’re stuck with google. The wine menu also suffers from a lack of descriptions. A charcuterie dinner is built around taste but customers can’t make an informed decision based on the menu they’re given. Even a QR code to scan that takes you to a page with detailed descriptions of the food and drink options would be a massive improvement. The wine was very overpriced, and they don’t do a tasting pour for any wines. There aren’t any flight or tasting options. Just very expensive 2oz pours. Then our board came out without labels and the gentleman who brought it gave no explanation of which cheese was which. When our waitress came by later we asked and figured out part of why we were unable to identify all our cheeses was because two had been swapped out because the kitchen was out, but no one had told us. The bread was stale and the crackers were very strongly flavored and conflicted with some of the cheeses. But they were the only edible carb and we had to ask for more because there weren't enough crackers to with the cheese! There was also no fresh fruit on the plate, which we both considered very disappointing. We ordered the artichoke but it came out so dry we actually had to return it and have it taken off the bill. So, the charcuterie that did come was delicious and the ambiance was great. The waitress was lovely and did her best to compensate, but there are flaws in the set up of the establishment and in the kitchen and it's very expensive for...

On a recommendation, my husband and I came here for our anniversary last night. It was quiet and very pleasant intimate. We were greeted by Matthew, who quickly and sat us down at a table rather than the couch, which is a great option for anyone choosing wine and the board and/or appetizers. Matthew took care of us for the night, and the guy could not have been nicer or more warm and welcoming. The bartender was very down to earth and friendly as well. Very important when you’re having a night out. For dining, we chose the bread board and the 3-choice charcuterie board. The bread came with honey butter, and I could have eaten an entire meal of just the bread and butter. It was amazing. My husband, who until last night made fun of charcuterie boards, could NOT stop eating off it. The prosciutto was very good, and the cheeses were delish! We got the Gouda and the Alfo Toman, and the Gouda literally melted in your mouth. The fig jam, however, was so delicious that we were scraping it off the board. I know charcuterie boards can be expensive for what you get, but high quality cheese is actually pretty expensive. I felt the price was fair. Before I forget, we started with cocktails, and I chose the blueberry mule, which was fantastic. Now back to food - husband chose the tagliatelle seafood pasta dish and said the scallops were amazing. Cream sauce could use a little amping up but the dish overall was very good. I had the salmon and it was amazing. The puréed potatoes underneath were a perfect complement. Finally for dessert, we had the sticky date toffee pudding (I think that’s it). Amazing. Literally everything about the night was perfect. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was enjoyable. I definitely recommend it and will...
