I recently visited Victoria’s Secret and was impressed with the wide variety of items available, from cozy loungewear to luxurious lingerie. Their current sale offered great discounts, making it the perfect time to stock up on essentials or treat yourself to something special. I was also pleased to see a broad range of sizes, ensuring there’s something for everyone, no matter their body type. Shopping in-store gives you the opportunity to browse the latest styles and enjoy some fantastic deals.
However, my overall experience was marred by the poor customer service I received from Ella at the checkout counter. She was incredibly rude, dismissive, and condescending, making the entire process uncomfortable. Instead of feeling welcomed as a customer, I felt belittled and disrespected, which is not how anyone should be treated while shopping, especially at a brand known for its quality and customer loyalty.
Given this experience, I would recommend skipping the in-store visit and shopping online instead. The website offers all the same great items, sales, and sizes, and you won’t have to deal with the unpleasant customer service I encountered. Today, me, my daughter and granddaughter went to the VS to check out the after christmas sales and use my anniversary coupon. When leaving the mall over an hour later, we looked at our receipt and saw we were overcharged for an item. The young cashier was very hateful and didn't seem to understand math. The sale was 5 for $19.99, so the one item not ringing correctly changed the price on the other 4. She couldn't seem to understand why she needed to do this transaction for what she obviously considered a small amount of money. She snatched our receipt off the counter, and ended up having to do 3 transactions to figure things out instead of asking for help. We told her that her customer service was lacking, hoped she didn't treat other customers in this manner, and hoped her day got better. Before leaving we asked for a manager only to be told there wasn't one available so we spoke to a shift lead. Hard to believe a manager wasn't working on the Saturday after Christmas. Greeted while waiting in line, them checking if something was in stock instead of making you wait to get in and find out its gone, being very friendly yet firm about Covid precautions with those not taking them seriously, which actually makes me more comfortable shopping there. We went hoping to snag a seasonal fragrance as opposed to waiting for it to ship, but when it was out, not only were they great about checking for more stock and making some other recommendations we went with as well, they helped us order online so it was guaranteed we got it and would shipped right to us instead of having to come back. I was thrilled they would match their online price so I ended up ordering two instead of one.
