I have two girls with a rare mitochondrial disorder that manifest like cerebral palsy. We went in to eat after church today and my youngest wasn’t in the best of moods, it took us awhile, with my girls needs and my youngest difficulties to decide what we were going to order. The cashier, Ashley, was very kind and told us to take our time. She had the sweetest dispositon ever and was very patient. Finally, our order in and everyone happy, Ashley swiped a card making our total less. I looked at her confused, but very thankful for the decrease in our total, as we were feeding 5 of us. She explained that she gave us her employee meal for the day. Her good friend has a daughter with special needs too and she understood a bit of my youngest behaviors. She also went on to explain that just like my daughters, her friends daughters mom was told her daughter would never walk, just like my girls. I said a word of thanks for all of us, all three girls walking and doing well. I said a prayer of thanks.... For the work ethic of mothers, to help their children thrive, this wonderful, kind girl, who eased our struggle and showed kindness, it was so needed at the moment, the acceptance and understanding. This was our first time at Noodles and Company and thanks to Ashley in Columbus, Indiana, it will quickly become our favorite. Hooray for...
Read moreWe used to visit about once a month however now have completely stopped. I know a lot of things change over time and with different situations adjustments must be made. However in the food industry corporations ALWAYS play the cost-cutter game with the food they serve and of course, it is ALWAYS going to be cheaper quality and smaller potions at a higher price, because that is how they roll. Take for instance the mac and cheese which used to be stellar in any form is now reduced down to, basically tasting like Annie's from the local grocery store. As well as portion sizes. If I order a small size I still expect the small container to be FULL not just a small cookie scoop of food for $$, and if I order a large container it better be damn well full to the top since we are paying a premium here. Sorry that Noodles and Company have taken the plunge into the abyss of rip the customer off with the "ever shrinking product scheme" but they are sadly there....and now we...
Read moreEDIT: Rob, the manager sent me a few coupons to try their food for free. That was such a generous and wonderful gesture. I did go back and I change my rating to 5 stars. The food was fresh, hot and very yummy. I had the pasta rosa and my husband had the pad thai. I also spoke with Rob and his team at the restaurant and they were super polite and courteous. I will surely eat here again. It means a lot that they care so much about their vustomers and that makes all the difference! ‐----‐----------------
Really bad food and a scolding waitress.
Ordered the cauliflower gnocchi rosso, garlic bread, potstickers and korean noodles.
The bread was stale and a 2 year old could have made it. The potstickers were overcooked in places and raw in some. The gnocchi was largely ok but the korean noodles were abysmal.
My first time there and I don't think I'll...
