Super disappointed with my experience. I booked a scalp massage for my birthday and it was nothing like I expected, honestly regret even booking it. I had an appt booked at 10am and when I walked in the man seemed surprised that I was even there and told me his boss wasn't there yet, I asked if I needed to come back later because it seemed like he was confused but he said no and took me back (the boss never showed up in the hour and a half that I was there). The description on the site says, "One of our most popular services is our signature scalp massage, a deeply rejuvenating treatment that includes facial cleansing, head reflexology, and intensive hydration. This service is designed to brighten the skin, relieve neck and shoulder tension, and reduce fatigue, making it the perfect reset for both mind and body."

Based on this description I was expecting a lot different than what I received, I never expected to be getting my whole body massaged and this is not what I wanted. I instead received a full blown back massage that was at minimum 30-40 minutes. In the middle of the back massage (which I still don't understand why I got) a customer walked in and my massage therapist walked out and was talking to the customer for 10-15 minutes while I was laying there with no towel on top of me because he was literally in the middle of the massage when he walked out. This ruined any sense of calm that I had when it was fully interrupted. My legs were also massaged (I was still wearing my leggins because again this is not what I was expecting based on the description). He also rolled down the top of my leggings at one point to massage more of my lower back, which again seems so wrong looking back considering I was there for a scalp massage. My scalp was eventually massaged but my face was literally only touched for 15-30 seconds tops. Definitely expected way more for my face based on the description. It felt like not nearly as much time was spent on my scalp as he spent on my lower back. The massage therapists phone was also vibrating the whole time which was super distracting and interrupting the peace/calm that I was expecting from the experience. I wont lie, the man was very nice but overall the more that I look back this experience was extremely off putting and uncomfortable due to the fact that it was not at all what was stated on the site. I just came to leave a review about my service today and Emma W. left a review that took the words right out of my mouth. I had a scalp massage scheduled at 2, so I got there a few minutes (5-10 min) early to check in. The door was locked, so I knocked and nobody answered. I called, nobody answered. So, I texted a number that I had communicated with when I scheduled the initial appt. The man arrived just before 2 and was nice and apologetic. The massage I booked was described as “Experience ultimate relaxation with Chinese Herbal Head Therapy, Head, Neck, and Shoulder Massage infused with essential oils, and a soothing head, shoulder, and neck massage. Relieve tension and restore balance effortlessly!” 75% of the time was used as a back massage, which I was not prepared for, and the other 25% of the time, the man brushed my hair, washed it with Herbal Essences shampoo in the sink and massager my scalp a little bit. During the massage, other customers came in, so the man had to leave during my massage to assist those customers. If I was getting a back massage, you’d think they want to ask if there are any areas to avoid/focus on/medical issues to be aware of/etc. The man was nice, but the experience overall was extremely odd as this was not at all what was advertised when I purchased it. The therapist was highly professional and experienced, skillfully mastering traditional Chinese Tui Na techniques that left my entire body feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
