My boyfriend bought me an engraved gold plated necklace about two weeks ago. After about a week of wearing it, I noticed the whole charm had rusted where the engraving was. When we took my necklace into the store and explained the situation, the manager rudely responded with, āI didnāt hear a word you just said, you need to learn how to speak upā. She then took a hard brush to the charm. While it did take off some of the rust, it also competently scratched the charm leaving it looking terrible. When I brought this to her attention she claimed that it was already scratched. She implied that it was the acidity of my sweat that damaged the item. I do not wear the jewelry when working out, showering or sleeping, and have never had issues with items tarnishing. We also paid for a warranty, which she told us we could not use for another two years. When we asked what could be done to fix it, she said there was nothing I could do for the next two years. My boyfriend got this gift for me as he will be leaving for the military for five months. She said if I was really concerned then I could buy a new one. This necklace was over 200 dollars and less than I week old. Considering itās silver with gold plating, it should not be rusting in the first place. I was very disappointed in the quality of the item, and even more disappointed with the disrespect we were met with. Half the time we were speaking with the manager, she was yelling over to other employees or taking phone calls. She ended up doing an exchange for the charm, but made us pay an additional 22 dollars for it to get engraved again. When I asked her how to care for the necklace from now on, she said, the store recommends you rinse it with water and dish soap. Then she said, youāre not actually supposed to let gold plated items come in contact with water, so maybe just use a tarnishing cloth. - If you want to get a quality piece of jewelry, I recommend you spend your time and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis store deserves negative stars my experience was so terrible. I purchased a bracelet online and came in to pick it up. I called earlier this morning to make sure it was ready because my email hadnāt been working. The girl I spoke with went to check and said she saw it and it was ready. This was a bracelet for my soon to be mother in law for my wedding this weekend. First, we walked into the store and it was pretty busy so no one greeted us. I understand youāre busy, no worries. There were 2 girls not doing anything and said nothing to us, so I spoke up and said I was there to pick up my order and I had called this morning. This was a girl with long dark hair, and she was EXTREMELY rude. She immediately told me my order was canceled because they didnāt have any of the bracelets I ordered. Weird, because the girl I spoke with saw my bracelet this morning. The girl I spoke with on the phone spoke up and stated that she saw two of the bracelets earlier. From the sounds of the conversation, the girl with the long dark hair sold my bracelet earlier in the day to someone else even though I had already paid for it. After leaving the store extremely frustrated, I checked my email. I had an email from yesterday confirming my order was ready to be picked up, and an email 20 mins prior to going in store that my order had been canceled which I did not do. The charge is still on my card at the moment and I donāt have the bracelet. Ended up getting something at Kendra Scott. If you want to be ripped off and treated poorly, go to Pandora. Highly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTERRIBLE experience today at Pandora. I went in with a friend to get a gift and I had bought several pieces for my self there previously over the years. I have always had very good service. No one greeted us when we arrived all the staff was having their own conversation and finally once they finished the conversation they came over to us. Everytime we asked a question the response from the first employee was negative. We decided to look on our own, we looked at a book on the counter that was OUT, and we were told that was not the right book it doesnāt have everything in it. Okay well then donāt have it in the counter. We continued to look and on top of the case we were looking in she started dropping bags of stuff to look through for another customer. Then we looked around some more and were ready to see certain options and I had to ask to be helped again and made to feel bad like I was in school interrupting their conversations. We asked to look at the book or something to see options that were not out and again that book wasnāt for us. Well can you show us with whatever device has them on it. So we did that picked one, and the remainder of the service was just as rude. No thanks for coming, or anything. With 4 staff working their and two groups of customers, Iām guessing one of the employees was a manager and literally watched the whole thing unfold and said nothing. With all the other ones in Columbus I would recommend not going to this one. Maybe it will get shut down. Looks like the reviews have been terrible! If I could give...
