Worst customer service experience. I have been to sephora all my life but never seen customer service like this. When i went in to help my friend to get foundation and many other things she needs for her wedding, the lady who came to help us to find perfect shade was so impatient. She said that she can try on only one product today so what were we intrested in. We said foundation. She got 2 shades which computer showed her and applied on. We did not like how product looked on her face. We asked fr less coverage. She said, i m only supposed to spend 15 min. I think there is no right shade fr u. Why do u take 60 min appoinment and come in? We took appoinment. We went after 2 days. Session was least helpful. We mentioned in the beginning that we dont want anything with spf. She tried on a foundation which made my friend's skin ugly. I could see it from 1 step away. When i asked her to try something else. Makeup artist said, no one will look at her from that distance on her wedding day. She looks pretty. She kept on making us feel guilty for not liking what she tried on her face. We still had 30 min left, she started saying, i have next appointment so this is all i can do today. Finally she gave us powder foundation. We wanted cream also as my friend's skin is dry. But We took whatever she showed. We asked for primer before session, she dint give or show any primer. And when we went to the counter, we checked the compact powder she choose for us has SPF. So even 60 min session was not enough to choose one right foundation????? We ended up buying 204$ stuff but we dont hAve foundation, primer, or compact. They know that this is for my friend's big day. I faced similar experience when i went myself to get stuff for contouring. I ended up returing what i bought as they gave me wrong shades. But i dint mind much that time. I see that makeup artists there impatient and less knowledgeable in choosing right shade or asking customer for what they actually want. Read moreThis store is full of thieves. Never cared for this store as I felt they watch people of color! I tried to exchange product that was purchased a week prior. The manager lied by stating it was not on my profile. I simply purchased a new product. When I left, I decided to call headquarters to check my profile...they found the item on my profile. I headed back to the store and enroute, noticed the manager kept my original item of return. When I entered to correct their mistake, the new manager, ally, lied and stated she reviewed the cameras and noted it was returned to the bag and could not give me my original item back or refund my money. NEVER AGAIN! The thieves in this store that list themselves as "managers." I filed a formal complaint with sephora...going through the proper channels before I reach out to my bank concerning this place and refund for items not received. If the managers will steal a customer's return, imagine what else they are stealing!!!!! Dont you find it odd that they only have 4 months of reviews out here? They are paying ti remove reviews. Read moreStore was busy. I went in with an eyeliner that the company that I bought doesn’t make anymore. Lack of help from beginning. The guy at the door said oh only 2 options, and led me to urban decay and then said other was potentially over in the Sephora line. I went and looked around and found it.. while trying to match someone super young came up, and I asked her. She was reserved almost like she was upset I bothered her. I then explained to her and she said same thing, but she at least tried to find another color option. Brought me a super cheap option. If it was to match my current eyeliner I wouldn’t have cared how much I had paid. Then she walked away and didn’t ask anything else. I walked around looking and then kept trying to find where to find the tweezers… I found them without help, there were people, but they were more concerned bout chatting than helping. When I got to the register I was asked if I had received help, I said not really because I didn’t. Honestly I’ve been to better sephoras and ultas for that matter that really put customer service at the forefront.
