Let me preface by saying I've ran a store for four years so I am pretty particular about customer service. I tend to greet and dialogue well with others as it was a part of management for me to become a lot better at it and I did. This was my second time at the location ordering the chicken enchilada chili soup again (so my wife can try it) and a salad for myself, I am greeted with the same staff as I ran into previously about a week or so ago and I see they are in good spirits when I walk in. The gentleman greeted me the same as before but I can see one of the ladies speaking quietly to another and look my direction. This is the dialogue that proceeds. "Why would you say that?" -a look is given looking towards me "I'm weak. Next time its gonna be 'can I have your number.'" The gentleman has to ring me out even after asking the young lady who gave the look if she was going to. Look. I've been with my wife faithfully 13 years. Probably since the individual was in elementary school. Those two girls didn't even give eye contact to me or say have a good day, anything. Last time I came they were full of words. This time you saw all of the dialogue given while I was there. The gentleman made my entire meal. Try 2 combo. Things like this make me return to Zoup where the lady greeted me the same all three times. I dont come for women and its laughable that this occured. I come for soup because I like it. My father was a cook and my grandfather a chef. I have an eccentric taste for foods not girls. People should take returning customers very differently because experiences as such make me not want to return if that's what I deal with between visits. I could be assuming wrong. But explain the dialogue and lack of communication otherwise as a customer or as a staff. I've ran a store full of women and have been asked repeatedly to take orders from men hitting on my assistants or CSRs. I am not new to it. Just bad service today from the two ladies. Gentleman did a fine job both times and should be...
Read moreGreat vibe from the moment you walk through the door. You’re greeted immediately (by a couple folks), the bright lighting and modern feel gives the restaurant a classy look. I love that it’s set up like a chipotle style (clear glass over food) while offering the panera style food. I also like that You can sample the soups and salad dressings. I ordered the “2 combo”, much like Panera’s pick 2, but rather than a half sandwich and half salad/soup, this combo comes with a whole sandwich and a “half” salad/soup which is about the size of a whole soup/salad at Panera. I know I’m using Panera a lot but that’s the best way I can think to describe their food. Fresh food all around (drinks, salads, soups, sandwiches, even desserts!). And they’re “baguette” is literally a roll (it’s Heaven - yum!). I was very pleased with my meal, veggie friendly options (I got the vegetarian sandwich and garden chowder soup), and the chocolate dipped strawberry is to die for! As you can tell, I thoroughly enjoyed this place! I definitely recommend this place (I hate to name drop but yes, over Panera). You get quality fresh food, similar prices to Panera but larger portions... check...
