Studio 882 Furniture + Design — Local services in Concord Township

My husband and I came into Studio 882 on a whim. We had already selected furniture for our family room from Raymour and Flanagan, but figured we’d do a little “due diligence” before making the actual purchase. As soon as we walked through the doors, we immediately knew that Studio 882 is not your typical furniture retailer: This place is actually a group of designers with a showroom, that happens to sell furniture. We didn’t have an appointment, but we were lucky enough to be greeted right away. However, this wasn’t the typical rush of which salesperson gets to you first - we were given some time to take a stroll around the showroom without the feeling of a hard sell. We started to ask some questions about the where the furniture was made, materials and quality and we knew that this was the place for us. These were questions that could not be answered at R & F.

Our designer, Erika, was very thoughtful and patient with us. What I appreciated in particular was her taking the time to get to know our style (none) and gauge how much of her input we were looking for (a lot!). I’m sure there are a lot of customers that are very particular, but I panicked when I saw all of the fabric options available for our made-to-order sofa. Erika asked thoughtful questions and gave us a few options that we then selected from.

From the time that we ordered until delivery, it was about 12 weeks. This might seem long, but it is totally worth it! Oh, and I have to mention that their white-glove delivery was fantastic! They even made sure the pillows were placed perfectly!

My husband and I spent weeks going to different furniture stores and not finding what we wanted. We walked into Studio 882 and were greeted by their friendly owners, Chad and Jen. They spent a lot of time with us answering all of our questions and taking us around the store to see what pieces would fit our needs. Once we got some ideas, we had designers Nicole and Cassidy come to our home and design our library and family room. They could not have been more down to earth and wonderfully creative. This design service was complimentary. I'm so glad that we did it because I was at a dead end with my design knowledge. We met with them less than 2 weeks later and they had laid out the most beautiful fabrics. Matt was also great. The three of them together put together two amazing rooms. They also didn't mind if I said I didn't like something and helped me pick out something in its place. Honestly I liked to 95% of what they showed me. We thought the pricing was on par with the other furniture stores that we looked at. However the quality and uniqueness of these pieces goes above and beyond where we were shopping. I could not recommend Studio 882 highly enough. I look forward to getting our pieces and posting more photos.
